Meaning of your username?

Hey ya'll!

I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.

As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!

I opened my Allnurses.com account in February 2005. At that time I was living in Bakersfield, CA and commuting five days per week to an LVN program located 95 miles away in Van Nuys. I drove 1000+ miles weekly during that time period.

Prior to that, I lived 125 miles from my workplace and commuted for a year before quitting to return to school.

Hence, my user name is based on my adventures as a commuter in the distant past. By the way, my commute these days involves walking a few steps from the master bedroom to the home office.

AlphaM, was a long time lurker here and one day decided to join, had a magazine in front of me, it was about wolves, saw the word Alpha and decided to use that, the M was to disclose the fact that I'm male.
