I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.
As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!
Mine's kinda obvious. I hope to one day be an Certified Nurse Midwife. The sole reason I chose this path to begin with. Since it's quite a few years down the road, I figure my user name will be relevant for quite a while.
And I also aspire to be like the 2 CNMs whose care I was under during my last pregnancy and with whom I had a homebirth that kick-started this very journey.
During my first (non-nursing) go-round in college almost 16 years ago, there was a girl in my bio class with the name Kiszi. I thought it was pretty and unusual.
