Meaning of your username?

Hey ya'll!

I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.

As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!

So lets hear it!

Mine is my email address... I knew I wouldn't forget it that way lol

Remember that Play Doh toy where you stick the Play Doh in the little man and you pump it and Play Doh hair grows and then you cut it???

I do remember that. I also remember the "Tressy" doll. You could pull her hair to make it longer & if you wanted her to have shorter hair, she had a button you pushed & the hair went back in her.

Love the creativity! It's fun getting the backstories of some oft read names. I am patting myself on the back for having been close on some of them, but so many more caused a "Wow! That's where that came from!" moment.

Mine is pretty boring in comparison, just my initials and the year I graduated from my RN program.

When I started my first nursing job, I was also working at Starbucks part time and one of the perks is a free pound of coffee every week. I'd never be able to drink it, so I'd bring it to the unit...made friends fast that way. (It's also a Scrubs reference.)

The Evening Primrose is a late bloomer. I definitely feel that way about myself. For myriad reasons, I was stuck in a huge rut for a long time. I finally feel on my path.
