Hey ya'll!

I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.

As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!

So lets hear it!

Lady chosen from a line in my favorite movie, Fried Green Tomatoes…"Miss Ruth was a lady, and a lady always knows when to leave." Scrubs because,

1. I wear this article of clothing at work and

2. I am a bleach freak and I scrub my kitchen floor a lot,

on my hands and knees

my kitchen smell like a crime scene

my cooking is not much better

My avatar is Darth Vader a play on "The Son of Man" by Rene Magritte, the Death Star takes the place of the apple. It combines my love of space, James Earl Jones, men in uniform, and surrealism.

My cat.

Clarinet, first chair (orchestra)

French horn, 3rd chair (band)

French horn playing the baritone part (dance band)

Or is that too much bragging as a music nerd?

I read that as kegeling.

I should probably do more of that, too.

I thought that I was going to be the only one who played one!

My name is an incarnate of the meaning of my name and my nickname, and a part of a nickname is from one of my favorite music artist's nickname-she called herself "Lady T", and the 28 is my birthdate. :D

No such thing. But, I may have a bone to pick. Really? A French horn for a Baritone piece?

Clarinet first chair. Are all nurses former band nerds?!

I always thought your name was from this:

That show copied my cat's name. I think I should get royalties every time it's on.

My late ex went to band camp one summer, and I watched the movie, so it has to count somewhere.

What a great diversion and thread!

Soliloquy? I'm communicating my thoughts/feelings/etc aloud here when I'm by myself.

Come to think about it, it was a trombone part. I had to transpose from the key of F (French horn) to the key of C (trombone) on the fly. It was interesting. I think I liked orchestra best (clarinet).
