MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe

Baptist scholarship interview calls will be going out Thursday or Friday for next week, I had to re schedule my interview from Friday to next week....Good luck to everyone interviewing

Don't forget that some of us are planning to meet each other before orientation starts by the snack machines around 8:30a tomorrow morning!!! Can't wait to see everyone!!! :D

for those of you who had the orientation today... how was it? Did you guys get your schedules yet? The orientation for homestead is on the 29th.

What does the book list look like?

Is it an insane amount of books we need to buy?

Orientation over all was long and somewhat boring. They go over the campus resourses, the student handbook and all the do's and don'ts.

They will give you the list of classes you need to take. Be ready to register with a laptop or cell phone if you can.

The book list is long and they will also give you information on uniforms and materials etc...

Dont worry if you do not have all your paperwork in order. Quite a few people didnt have it, myself included, they give you extra time.

Ours only let out about 20 minutes early. People where asking quite a few questions

Yup, they will give you a list of the classes you need with the reference number but it's up to you to register your classes, and be ready because a lot of people as soon as they got that list started registering on their phones, so the classes filled up quick!

I's a lil nervous about doing the transition online, i really was hoping for the face to face

To those who haven't gone to orientation yet, you can register now if you want. You just have to make sure that you choose all the classes from the same sequence. My orientation was on the 17th and I registered a day or two before along with some other friends. That way you won't have to worry about registering there. For those who don't know the codes, they are: NUR1025, NUR1025L, NUR1025C, NUR1142 & NUR1060C

Also, remember to choose just from the classes that belong to your program. :)
