MDC Spring 2012 :)

I am going on Monday to apply! I hope it works out this time :)

If not its ok, i didn't plan on spring i was aiming for Fall, but who knows maybe it'll happen for me.

Well to be honest my score wasnt that great. I was only able to take the exam once due to some personal issues last year. (money is tight )

but i scored 72 on the teas. I plan on taking it again, thankfully things have been better and i can afford to get everything done.

how about you what was your score ? or you a first time applicant?

I got 82 on the teas and have a 4.0 GPA

72 isn't that bad! I've seen worst! Like me for example! lol....I took the teas twice and one time I got 69! lol...I'm sure you'll do better this time.

Also! I read that you haven't heard anything from MDC yet! have you tried calling and demanding an answer. The deadline is over, they are supposed to at least tell you that you didn't get in.

Keep checking your email...I read that someone got their acceptance letter yesterday. maybe you are next!

yea i've tried calling but they have yet to answer my calls! Yea i read that blog too, that's really lucky for that person who got their letter yesterday.

Well actually I got 69 the second time I took the test. lol. I'm afraid that just didn't study much 'cause I thought it was going to be the same test. I remembered many of the questions, so I studied the parts I did wrong the first time (my mistake), but when I went again the questions were completely different.

Happily I had the 82 to back me up! But I'm sad that I lost the opportunity to improve my grade. Still I do consider that an 82 is not bad...but I wanted more. lol

I completely understand you. but what happen to you is pretty common. I've heard that a lot of people have done worse on their 2nd attempt. But i believe an 82 is good, i think you have a really good chance.

Oh and I'm applying to the generic full time! I wanted to apply to the part time as back up but they don't offer part time in the spring! too bad!!!

Hi everyone,

I am also applying for Spring 2012 both accelerated and generic.

I'm so nervous because my GPA is pretty low, less than a 3.0, but I got an 89% on the TEAS... I sent in my app last week. Just waiting to hear from them now!

Just to verify with you guys. What classes are they using to calculate your GPA?
