MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe

guys... wanted to make sure I cleared this up for you...

we never used the "application of the nursing process" by doenges... kinda wait it out til you see what you will surely need... don't have to buy more than what you are going to use :)

Hey everyone, thank you guys so much for all the info on orientation. Its been really helpful for those of us who are waiting for the next orientation. Im just confused about the whole sequence thing.. can someone explain that to me. :confused:

Oh Cool! Thanks for sharing this info, on eagles wings! I was just trying to see how much $ I have left so I can order a couple more books from Amazon. I'm scratching this one off the list for now... :D

Hello,

I just joined this forum and have read through some pages of posts, which have answered a few of my questions. I recently got accepted to the accelerated option, but since I was called in after the regular orientation had been conducted I am a bit lost, to say the least. I already have most of my required paperwork done, I am still pending results on all lab tests, which due to the coming holiday won't be available until next Wednesday. I spoke to the lady in charge of receiving the required materials and I will not be able to get my make up orientation (a video of the original orientation) or any other important information until all paperwork is turned in. I was wondering if any of my future peers, would mind bringing me up to speed. I don't expect a play by play of orientation day, but any information you feel is time sensitive (since I see many of you already buying books: do we need to start reading material?) I would appreciate the info. Thanks in advance for any help! -GQ

Hey board hope everyone is doing well, for everyone that interviewed with Baptist Hospital I wish you the best of luck, if anyone gets accepted to Baptist please keep us informed, I have a friend in sequence 2 trying to pick up a class with Professor Lebon. Hi everyone, just wondering if we should buy the books new or used?. I don't remember what they had said about the books during orientation?

Gisela you could buy the books used, if they are available just make sure they are the right edition

okie dokie, Thanks Alex..I was looking on amazon and the used fundamental book is a actually pretty cheap so I wanted to make sure it was good

Oh I see the book is suppose to come with a cd. do you think we need the CD too? Would it be best to buy it new instead?..sorry for so many questions I just wana make sure I get the right thing before ordering
