Maricopa Spring 2016 Block 1 students

So we all should have heard weeks ago about our placement now I wanted to start a place for the preparation for Block 1.

I know Fall semester still needs to start and end before we can even get to block 1, but hey I'm to excited.

How is everyone doing getting situated for the universitys?

When is everyone thinking about starting the stuff that needs to be done for Maricopa (I.e. medical papers, titer tests, CPR)?

Cool. I jist applied for NAU CEP. Im excited to get started!

No, the only people who are placed for Spring 2016 as of now are CEP students. They won't be placing for Spring from the regular wait list til after Fall semester starts. Probably not til September or maybe even October.

NursingAZ, you will get an email telling you to reaffirm your status and then to select your top 5 about a month before placement starts for th following semester. You have to reaffirm every semester and some school only have block 1 starting in fall and some have accelerate programs only offered at different times of the year so you have to set up your top 5 every semester in case things changed. If you can, pick more then just MCC. You are heavily limited yourself and could extend your wait time by only having one choice. Most school have morning classes, but for all schools clinical will definitely go longer then your kids release time at school. Aski, morning only means the classes start in the morning. Not what time they will end. If you can financially, plan for daycare so that you can pick more options and start faster. GL in what you decide.

How are they already placing Spring 2016 CEP?? I haven't even seen any information sessions or anything yet to apply for Spring CEP. I just got into the pool on Aug 6.

The people who are Spring 2016 CEP students applied this past June. The spring application session (happens in February) is for a fall 2016 start.

Here's my question: when are the CEP information sessions usually scheduled? I've been stalking the link sent in the email when you get your time stamp but it still says "No CEP information sessions have been scheduled at this time?" Not anxious about it, but I want to make sure I get in one as I've heard they fill up pretty quickly.

The last one was in Feb I think for the June application session and all you can do is just keep checking the application status page often or asking a nursing advisor if they have dates set yet or when they think they might have them.
