Maricopa Spring 2016 Block 1 students

Published

So we all should have heard weeks ago about our placement now I wanted to start a place for the preparation for Block 1.

I know Fall semester still needs to start and end before we can even get to block 1, but hey I'm to excited.

How is everyone doing getting situated for the universitys?

When is everyone thinking about starting the stuff that needs to be done for Maricopa (I.e. medical papers, titer tests, CPR)?

Here's the thread:

Sorry, my bad though. I skimmed through it again and didn't see anyone say PC (unless I skipped over it).

Looked again and there was one person post they got PC but didn't say if they called to know that or if they actually got an email.

Thank you, I was able to find it. Thank you so much. I comment to see if she can give me some insight. UIU did tell me to not worry, but I just want that email to finally not feel so stressed out.

I am going to NAU/GCC traditional, I think I have everything done, but the immunizations.

I'm so excited to start! I'm still waiting to be accepted to UIU. I'm thinking my GCU transcripts are what's holding that up. For us UIU people, the UIU advisor said we should be having an orientation at the end of July or early August. That's right around my due date, so hopefully I won't be in labor when that happens! As far as health stuff goes, I can't do any of that till I give birth. Gah! Too much waiting.

Does anyone know when we'll have an orientation with the CC side of things? I'm thinking it'll be closer to the start of the spring semester.

Oh that's good to know for UIU, thanks :)

I don't know if it differs by CC but I know my acceptance email said we'd be getting more info and orientation in October for that side of things.

Hi everyone,

I was accepted into PC/NAU and am just waiting for word from NAU about my transcripts and a definitive date for orientation. Called PC today and they said that they've just sent student confirmations to NAU, so it looks like anyone waiting on PC will have to wait a couple of days more.

Thank you so much for this info. I hope to hear from them soon. Did you get an email from PC or just by phone? Sorry for the questions, I was told by phone I was accepted and yet to get an email from PC. I was accepted with UIU.

I got my CEP acceptance email over a week ago with instructions to fax a contract to PC saying that I will be attending NAU. I don't know if you would get the same thing since you're with a different school but I would call PC and ask if you have to do anything. Maybe you have a different time line but the deadline to fax that contract in was Friday for me.

Also ask if they have the right email for you. I know one notice said they would be sending out letters but emails are the only communications I've gotten from them.

Thank you! Maybe since we are with UIU it's different, in haven't received anything. So I am hoping to receive something this week. I did speak with UIU and they do have me on their list and said not to worry, but it's hard not to.

I would call PC again today and tell them you haven't received the acceptance email at all. I'm with UIU and got an acceptance email from my school. The community colleges are the ones that send them out, so you just want to double check that with PC since others did receive emails from them.
