  1. There's a group on FB for the fall 2016 Scottsdale cohort. Just type that in and it should find the group to join.
  2. Has anyone done the gateway accelerated block one in the summer? I am trying to find people that have gone through it. Thank you!!
  3. Do you you know where the rural areas are? What is frontier? Another np program? Do you have a bsn or a degree in another area? I have a BA in psychology so the NAU program interests me because they have it available for students like me.
  4. Are any of you doing the FNP MSN program at NAU with having a previous BA in a different field? I wanted to find someone with a previous degree in another field that is going straight to the MSN FNP program and bypassing the bsn. Is this a very competitive program? Does anyone know what it means by "RN experience preferred but individual basis is evaluated". Not exact wording but basically it sounds like they want an experienced RN but are willing to take someone without it and they evaluate that. But what do they evaluate? Thanks!!
  5. Did you find out more info about this program?? I'm also in the Phoenix area, have a family with 3 kiddos, and it's been like pulling teeth trying to get SPECIFICS from the advisor. I keep getting copied and pasted emails. Nothing actually personally responding to my questions.
  6. Check out the NAU one. I'm in the process of getting more info. It's not concurrent. But I had a friend that's in the advanced nursing profession look at it and she said it looks really good. She didn't care for the Grand Canyon one.
  7. Shanty, with having a previous BA... Have you looked into any of the MSN programs for students with previous bachelors?
  8. Hi!!!! Thank you so much for responding!!! I just sent you a pm asking more questions. Thank you!!!! :)
  9. Still hoping to find someone in the accelerated program at gateway. I would love to find out the block 1 and 2 schedules. (I know it can change). Is it 5 days a week? Thank you!
  10. Does anyone know the gateway accelerated schedule? I know it changes... But hoping to find someone that is in it or knows someone?
  11. Chazzie, would you mind sharing what your block one schedule has been? Your overall experience so far? Thank you! QUOTE=Chazzie_Made_It;8751576]Hey all! I just got my placement email! I'll be in Gateway's accelerated program starting January 2016!!! Can't wait to find out who else will be starting with me! Only been waiting since June 2015.
  12. Chazzie, would you mind sharing what your block one schedule has been? Your overall experience so far? Thank you! :)
  13. Any updates on how this program is going? :)
  14. Hi! I think I've posted this before but wanted to repost to see if anyone has signed up for this particular CEP program with GCU and MCC. It's to get your MSN while skipping over the BSN due to already having a BA in another field. Strictly trying to find out if anyone has applied for it and any experience they've had thus far? My main concern is it being a brand new program (but at least with a highly well known and reputable school). I've been advised by multiple professionals already in the field that I should be weary about new programs so I wanted to cover all bases and ask here as well. Please only comment if you have experience or know someone with experience in this program. Thank you!!! :)
  15. Zimbie45, congrats!!!!! Did you get placed today? Or is this from the last placement that happened recently?
