So we all should have heard weeks ago about our placement now I wanted to start a place for the preparation for Block 1.
I know Fall semester still needs to start and end before we can even get to block 1, but hey I'm to excited.
How is everyone doing getting situated for the universitys?
When is everyone thinking about starting the stuff that needs to be done for Maricopa (I.e. medical papers, titer tests, CPR)?
I was told there would be an info session for CEP in September, most likely. This is frustrating though because when I turned in my application in July, the advisor said, "You could probably get in for spring 2016!"
I got an email today from GCC (glendale) about an information season for the CEP. They are having this Saturday and I believe it said it was open to anyone interested. For more information I would contact a gcc nursing advisor and see if you can attend.
For those that have started the university's classes, how is it going? I was going to take my first UIU class this fall, but financial aid reasons it would have messed it all up so I decided to take it in block 1. On another note, I am super excited because I was able to transfer to my home school GCC! GCC has been my #1 choice, but since they were booked for the traditional program I ended up being accepted with PC traditional. Well about 3 weeks ago, GCC let me know a weekend program spot was available and I right away took it! I am so excited! Who else is doing the weekend program?

I am still taking the UIU course this fall and will start next next month. I'm looking forward to seeing what their courses are like!
That's awesome that you got to transfer to your first choice school! :)
