Made Incredibly Easy Books

Published

i will be starting nursing school in the fall and i am wondering if the made incredibly easy books are any good. they have so many that i think would help me in the long to have, even if just for reference for tests.

did you buy any and which ones helped you the most. i am really looking into the charting and assessment books. i already bought the fundamentals and math dosage but have not got them yet.

I think everyone could tell you what their personal favorite in this series is. There is quite a huge library in this series. My suggestion is to wait. If you find that you are having difficulty with a particular area then that is the time to invest in one of these books. Most of them cost around $40+ each. The Border's Bookstore in the mall where I live has 4 shelves stocked with nothing but this series of books, so they are popular, always on the shelf and available.

After reading this thread I went on half.com and bought (brand new) electrolytes/fluids for 4 bucks! anddddddd care plans for another 10 ..everything came up to 24 ..I highly recommend browsing over there first

i bought pathophysiology made incredibly visual and it helps but i wish i got the patho made incredibly easy instead - the visual is just a bunch of pics where the "made easy" actually explains it thoroughly.

Thanks for the pointers regarding this series. I ordered the A&P one. I got it used on Amazon.com and the price was very reasonable.

I just ordered the Fluids & Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy it is an older version (1997), but I figure that the basics haven't changed that much. I will let you all know how it is when I get it!

You know what is funny about these books? I don't get much out of them. I am a learner that needs a foundation of specifics and detail as opposed to memorizing terms and what something is supposed to be. I have to always know why and I don't really feel these books do a good enough job for me. It's back to dry reading for me.

I love those books. I think they are wonderful. I have used those books for everything. I have a couple of those books. They really break it down in terms you can understand and it cut out a lot of fluff. I think they are worth having. Also, I have study from Nclex books. Whatever topic you are studying in class, you should study from your Nclex books. Ex. If you are working on GI, then go to your Nclex book and study the GI section. Another good book is reviews and rationales by Marriane Hogan. Excellent books and the nclex books will help you to start preparing for nclex also. Good luck with starting nursing school

I used these books throughout nursing school. I found them to be very helpful with my studying. I bought them used on Amazon.com. Usually shipping and tax free. The CD's that come with them are kinda fun to practice test yourself on the computer. I found this way of studying was easier for me than just reading a book.

I have the NCLEX made easy book. I really like it. The questions are good and the rationales really make sense.

My clinical instructor actually recommended that one when I was asking her opinion about NCLEX study guides. I think I'll check it out.

Can anyone tell me if they have had any luck with the Pharmacology Made Easy? I know that one poster said she did not care for it because it was too big. I have pharm. in the fall and like the books that I currently have (Fluids and Elect., Med-Surg, and Patho). I know that it's personal opinion but I would like to know if I should spend the money or not. Thank you:)
