i will be starting nursing school in the fall and i am wondering if the made incredibly easy books are any good. they have so many that i think would help me in the long to have, even if just for reference for tests.
did you buy any and which ones helped you the most. i am really looking into the charting and assessment books. i already bought the fundamentals and math dosage but have not got them yet.

You know what is funny about these books? I don't get much out of them. I am a learner that needs a foundation of specifics and detail as opposed to memorizing terms and what something is supposed to be. I have to always know why and I don't really feel these books do a good enough job for me. It's back to dry reading for me.
I'm with you chuckz. I think these books make the topic to incredibly easy....so much so that it doesn't give me the information I need to put the pieces together. I bought the F&E Made Incredibly Easy, and I read it....but didn't learn anything I didn't know....so I headed to my textbook again.
The Journal is great...but my library gets all the journals electronically. So, I don't subscribe to any of them, I just read them online.
Peace,

I don't think it's available electronically. Are you looking for someone to scan theirs in? That's kinda expecting a lot huh?
They're not that expensive, especially if you buy them used...oh and it's legal, unlike downloading a scanned copy.

Yes it is illegal to download a book without paying for it, yes you're correct about that.
I like these books, and the magazine, too. Like some pp's said, I use them along with the textbook. I like to buy and study ahead: for example, I bought Pharmacology, Dosage Calculations, and Med Surg. I am taking those classes in the fall, so I am reading ahead to get a glimpse into what to expect. Then I use the books throughout the semester, if I am stuck on a more difficult subject. I also have Pathophysiology, because I know I will use it throughout school. I used it all the time in A&P II last semester for my case studies, and it helped alot. I read that the Med Surg book has a really good c.d. with games and quizzes and stuff that is helpful in learning, but I haven't used it yet.
I also have Heart Sounds and Breath Sounds, which have accompanying c.d.s so that you can hear examples of the different sounds that you will encounter. I have Fundamentals, F&E, Nursing Student Success, Diagnostic Tests, NCLEX and the Best of...which has a little bit of info from alot of their books. I am sure I will purchase more in the future, too.
Asking posters to download copyrighted info - we can't do that - its illegal I would look into a PayPal account or send a check or something like that. I know when I lived overseas in various countries, I went to a bank and had a bank check drawn in that currency and then sent it by mail. Good luck.
Another tip for anyone looking for these books is to check with the library at your school. Our community college system has the "Made Incredibly Easy" books along with others like Lippincott's Expert Guides among almost 70 Nursing titles in an E-Book resource that you can access online for FREE as a student.
Besides giving you the opportunity to see the entire contents of the book before buying, these online E-books also allow you to perform directed searches on them. This makes finding specific topic references even more "incredibly easy!"
Check with your school's library - they may have this resource available for you too!
i love the magazine, it's bright, colorful and perfect for anyone with adhd. the study guide series i found more helpful is the reviews and rationales series. (i have some of both series) especially for med-surg when you're covering 6-12 chapters per test and 5 tests and a final in 7 weeks.
