:tinkbll:Hi all. Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite class? Also, what is your most favorite aspect of the nursing program:D, and your least favorite aspect?:crying2:

I am currently in the RN program at Galen. My favorite class in A&P. My most favorite aspect of the nursing program is the short length of time it will take to graduate.(15 months):grad: The thing I favor least is not being able to work much because of the amount of time I have to put into studying.:jester:

I enjoyed my OB and maternal health class, even though I have absolutely no plans to ever work in areas such as L&D, postpartum, womens health, OB, etc.

Also, what is your most favorite aspect of the nursing program:D, and your least favorite aspect?:crying2:
I like the fact that I can work full time while attending school full time. I deeply dislike the politics and favoritism that is bestowed upon certain students while others are treated more strictly.

Hmm...I'm an an ASN program and A&P I and II were prereq's (amongst others)before applying to nursing school. I can tell you ,as a male, that OB and peds were no fun in clinicals because of an underlying current among nurses. It was tough to admit, but it's real.

Advanced med surg is where I am now and I love it. I doubt myself almost daily, but I hear that's common. The challenge is the enjoyable part believe it or not.

Wow, March! Congratulations! I'll be graduating in August, God willing, and am already counting the days. My pet peeve is poorly worded exam questions. Maybe that will be another thread. :)

My favorite class was Med Surg. Loved learning about the disease processes and what happend with this or that...

Favorite aspect of my ASN program was that it took a mere 10 months for me to graduate! Yea! The least favored part of nursing school was clinicals....In the hospital we went to, I have never seen nurses that refuse to acknowledge a student trying to learn, refuse to teach them anything about the RN scope, but would rather order the group of us around like we are patient care slaves... Grr... makes me angry to this day!

Glad it's over, but still in shock that it is! LOL!

Ten months sounds good to me. My program is 18 months in addition to the prereq's. I can relate to the patient care slave feeling! :lol2:

I loved Mental Health. I think I was the only one in my class who actually enjoyed it.

I really loved psyche but I hated maternity! I had such a boring instructor and I was just not interested!:nurse:
