The hubs has had both and Mr. Hypochondriac's only complaint was he got tired after doing yardwork for 2 hours in the 80 degree heat (he's in FL at my daughter's house) FIVE DAYS after dose #2.

Obviously the product must be pulled off the market!!

Hopefully they did not send him* the link to the VAERS!

*He almost became the late Mr. Hypochondriac when he said he was 'getting tired' while I was on hour #15 of pit induction.

Moderna #2 two days ago. Received it at about 3 PM; arm mildly sore after, ran an errand after, went home. Super fatigue (I was sooo tired) hit me at about 8 PM, went to bed. Slept terribly, woke up somewhere in early morning hours with pretty severe body aches, headache, mild chills. Temp hovered between 100 and 102 for next 24 hours. Luckily no nausea. Woke up this morning feeling just sore like my body just went through the wringer a bit, but no fever and human again :).

Still 100% worth it.

But as I’ve already told my admin (who luckily do listen to me), be prepped when teachers get shot #2. Some may need the day off after and in my state, there is no way I can be sure they’d all be be able to get shot #2 on say, a Friday.

After the first dose, I grew a third arm and after the second dose, I became autistic....sorry, I'm just so tired of battling crazy misinformation the school office staff is saturating themselves in.

Anyway...I got the Pfizer just before Christmas and had a sore arm for the next day.  I received second dose in mid January.  I got very tired that night (which could be for many reason), woke up the next day feeling something coming on and a few hours later had a low grade fever and headache.  Handled it with tylenol and motrin rest of day.  Feeling fine by next day.

This is exactly why I asked all you wonderful School Nurses about your experience with the vaccines. I knew you all wouldn't be dramatic and just say what your true experiences were. Reason # 5,728  of why I love School Nurses.

I have appreciated all you responses. I got my #2 Pfizer a couple of weeks ago. A little arm soreness, but nothing else.

Happy Wednesday Friends-

I hope you are all safe and warm.

Got my first Moderna 1 week ago. ( I also already had covid back in November, so I waited until close to my 3- month post-covid mark before deciding on the vaccine) I had a sore arm that day and the next day had trouble lifting my arm above my head. I also had chills for a good 24 hours after the shot. No temp above 99, just felt really chilled that day and the next. 2 days after the shot I experienced fatigue and nearly passed out after standing up while carrying a heavy object. I realized the feeling and layed down immediately for a few minutes until it passed. Tried to take it easy and drink extra water that day. I'm 40 and also have MS.

Side note: Today I get a reminder call about my scheduled mammogram. Scheduling person asks about covid vaccine and informs me that some people get lymph node swelling and an inflammatory response following the covid vaccine. This could show up on the mammogram and require followup. Wanted to know if I am having swollen lymph nodes and if I would like to reschedule my mammogram for 8 weeks aftet my 2nd dose of covid vaccine.  I'm not having swollen lymph nodes, so I decided to keep my appointment. Hopefully it goes well and I don't need any followup.

Interesting to see some responses on here about swollen lymph nodes though. If any of my staff report swollen lymph nodes I will know it's possibly related to the covid vaccine.

I had a very swollen and painful lymph node on the side of the injection.  It was bad enough that I was unable to wear a bra for about4 days.  My Husband ( MD) said that it is not uncommon and occurs with other types of  immunizations as well.

I had my first Moderna a week ago.

I had a fairly significant amount of arm pain for 3 days following. I also slept very poorly and had a stiff neck for that duration of time.

I'm not sure if it was entirely shot related because my strength training routine that night could have contributed to the discomfort (wouldn't have changed my decision to keep on my training schedule though).

My employer provided the Moderna vaccine. After the first shot - nothing, not even arm soreness that seemed to be the most prevalent complaint. Had some mild arm pain for 2-3 days after the second vaccine. I had no clinical symptoms.

I had my second Moderna vaccine on Friday. Today is Sunday. I have a mild sore arm, much better than after the first shot. And I was a little tired the first 12 to 16 hours, but after that I have been fine.

So, sharing this also in this thread.

Got Moderna #1 on 1/16. Gave platelets at the Red Cross on 1/31. They test all blood donors now for COVID antibodies.

My COVID antibody test result was Reactive just 15 days after shot #1.

I donated again on 2/17, 4 days after shot #2. Waiting on those results. I usually give 1-2 times a month, so I'm curious to track my antibody test results over the next couple of months.
