Specializes in criticalcare, nursing administration.
41years as a nurse. Just retired 6 months ago. The decision to retire was for me really a physical one. I would ( and did) continue to practice until I really started to feel to tired to continue my 50+ hours a week as a nursing administrator.
Specializes in ER, OR, PACU, TELE, CATH LAB, OPEN HEART.
34 years, everything from staff to director, multiple specialties. Ideally, another 10 years working. Gov't says 16 till Social Security. If I am lucky will be between 5 and 16 years till I retire. Nursing is so flexible and varied you have lots of options.
luvRNs, BSN, MSN, RN
