Are there any other hospitals out there that are not paying hazard pay? Or is it just the hospital I work at ??

Specializes in Cardiology.

We got "retention pay" but not hazard pay. Not yet at least. The union is working on it.

Specializes in psych.

No hazard pay here either.

Specializes in Med-Surg, NICU.

No hazard pay even though we were the designated COVID unit and got dumped on. No raises either.

Specializes in LTC & Rehab Supervision.

I've been getting it for awhile now. It really adds on a lot of money. Very grateful for it.

Specializes in Oncology, OCN.

No hazard pay but we did get our merit increases, I got my chemo cert increase, and we just got a retention bonus the other week so $$$ in some form.

Specializes in Critical Care; Cardiac; Professional Development.

Nope. Hard to justify hazard pay for some while furloughing others.

Specializes in Med Surg, Tele, Geriatrics, home infusion.

That's awful to not at least give you guys a raise!

Specializes in ER, Pre-Op, PACU.

No hazard pay in the ER. I don’t think any unit is receiving hazard pay in my healthcare system.

Specializes in Community health.

I’m not in a hospital, but we rotate through a mobile Covid testing unit. I advocated for hazard pay but was shot down.

Specializes in CMSRN, hospice.

No hazard pay, and just learned no performance emails evals and raises for the fiscal year. Supposedly there I'd a small one-time recognition payment in the works for later this year, which I guess is something.

Specializes in NICU IV.

We do not get Hazard pay. They did start a 10$/hr bonus program for extra shifts on the covid NICU unit, but that is as available.

Specializes in Oncology, radiology, ICU.

None here. Plus we got all the extra pay differentials cut or eliminated and no merit raises this year. We were basically told we were lucky to have our jobs and not be furloughed.
