Good morning all just wanted to share this link you get a total of 4 epi pens and also a free training DVD. your school district has to have a standing order from a doctor before you can complete the order. I contacted my supervisor and she was able to get the ball rolling on the "standing order" I have Epi pens on hand for specific students but having access to a House stock will be a great benefit. And The EPI PEN LOCKER IS FREE ALSO...(I think).
https://www.epipen4schools.com/. The EpiPen4Schools® program, offered by Mylan, the marketer and distributor of EpiPen® (epinephrine injection) Auto-Injector, was developed to help improve access to epinephrine in the event a person experiences a life-threatening allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) in the school setting.

Hmm...I thought you only got the first batch free and then a discounted rate thereafter. Am I missing something?

They have been free the past few years here as well. One of the other nurses has taken over the program but as far as I know they have continued to be free.
My school has not paid for any epi-pens for the past 3 years through this program. I know other schools in my district have not had to pay either.

Yep - I love my free Epipens and I love my parent-doctor who signs my standing orders!

For those who may not have a medical director, may want to try your local health department. Ours has offered these services to us if needed.
Wow! I have some expiring next month and will definitely try to score some more free ones!
Our local ER doc signs for it
