How's it going with you guys?

Not to temp the Flu Gods, but so far so good.

Lots of mono, strep and "walking" pneumonia, however.

I had a confirmed flu case in a staff member, according to that person, but I never saw any documentation. This was back in November. Haven't seen any in kids yet. Today my daughter tested positive for strep. [emoji20]

But I threw up 2 days after getting the flu shot. That means the flu shot gave me the flu, right!?!?!

No confirmed cases here, but I would probably be the last to know.

Lots of strep and a nasty stomach bug, but that's about it right now!

It's heeeeere! (Well, none conformed here at school yet but still, it's out there.)

I confirmed case of a parent here but mostly colds, colds and more colds and a few cases of pneumonia thrown in. Of course the parents think all of their snowflakes have pneumonia the moment they start to cough...:banghead:

Not a school nurse, but in our PICU usually this time of year is wall-to-wall kids on vents with flu and / or RSV. Last year was brutal, mandated OT and constantly being on diversion.

This year? Three RSV cases -total - and one flu. Really, really strange (*knocks on wood)

Per one parent, student tested positive over the weekend for flu. That would be the first I've been notified of. Several cases of strep, recurrent conjunctivitis, and the dreaded stomach bug. I'm ready to put a sign on my door "Welcome to the Vomitorium."

No flu here either! Thank the good Lord! Strep has been here since the 2nd week of school. Kinda scared the flu shoe is about to drop! :snurse:

I work at an acute care clinic and we've only seen a handful of positive flus. We just got done with probably 2-3 weeks worth of sinus infections and strep seems to be making its rounds again. My area seems to be pretty good about getting in for their flu shots.

Only 2 cases of confirmed flu so far - strep or stomach stuff always seems to be going around.

I was just just told of a confirmed case of the flu; first time this year.

WV has been faring well. Only reported sporadically right now. Of course, the kids will try to use it for an excuse to call home.
