Don't go to co-workers' parties where drinking is occurring

I went to a co-workers party, she had a hall, DJ, Karaoke, etc, and lots of booze. I found out that another co-worker turns in to a trailer trash crazy woman when exposed to too much alcohol. It was a bad scene and there is continuing drama occurring.

I normally don't attend parties. I was the soberest person there, I think, although I did loosen up enough to show off my lousy dancing.

So, a word to the wise: Don't go to drinking parties with co-workers!!!

Oh, no, I shaved that off. Because, you know, drunk.

Did it get stuck in a door?

Did it get stuck in a door?

"Did I do that to your hair?"

I have one drink then switch to Perrier with a twist, get mental popcorn and watch it all go down. It will never be me that makes a fool of myself.

...because "white trash" is so much more acceptable?

*gets out the popcorn*

Reread my comment. No, 'White Trash' is politically incorrect. Trailer trash is a commonly used euphemism for an uncouth, low brow white person, the type that gets into fights in bars and has mean dogs who bite people.

I'm not a euphemism kind of gal.

When I first started working as a nurse, there was a group of nurses who would . . . oh dear I'd better not tell that story or people might recognize where I work.

Anyway, I do socialize with my co-workers. We even have community dinner/dances and auctions where the wine flows. But I'd never do that "grind" kind of so-called dancing.

Plus, I live in a very small town. Kind of hard to be unobserved here if you wanted to go out drinking.

You are my type of nurse! If I couldn't get drunk at a party I wouldn't go. You can be sober at work.

Oh, dear. re: the continuing drama -- you never saw a thing . . .:o

Watching everyone else's awkward dance moves can be pretty entertaining, too. I swore off right after the Macarena.

You mean like this?

Not even with me? :sorry:

I drink only once in a blue moon but when I do I notice that it doesn't really affect me.........(falls face first on the floor)

Ahhh, you tried to brush something off your shoulder and it was the floor.

The drink had nothing to do with it, it was the fact that I thought the floor was a wall and I tried to hold on to it :)
