I went to a co-workers party, she had a hall, DJ, Karaoke, etc, and lots of booze. I found out that another co-worker turns in to a trailer trash crazy woman when exposed to too much alcohol. It was a bad scene and there is continuing drama occurring.
I normally don't attend parties. I was the soberest person there, I think, although I did loosen up enough to show off my lousy dancing.
So, a word to the wise: Don't go to drinking parties with co-workers!!!

I envy you all !!! Nobody at work socializes with anyone outside the job where I"m at !! Either have young children or are too old and just go home !!! :)

Well since I have been sober for 10 years I really don't see the allure of going to parties a watching people get snockered. I don't actively avoid social situations where drinks are consumed such as dinner parties - some folks I work with know my history some don't. I occasionally act as a designated driver but not where people are expected to drink heavily - one morning spent scrubbing vomit out of the back seat of my car pretty much ended that practice.....

c)attempt to steal your friends donkey by baiting him into.your car with sugar cookies,
we probably shouldn't hang out outside of work. I don't like to socialize with drama queens. I prefer my co workers non-judgemental to harmless fun.

Knowing how stubborn donkeys can be, I'd guess the next step would be to get the big cutie OUT of the car.
I find that being with co-workers outside of work is best not done. Work and those you work with are best left there. Home is for family and friends. I've seen too many confuse that and be thrown under the bus or back stabbed by their work "friends"
Reread my comment. No, 'White Trash' is politically incorrect. Trailer trash is a commonly used euphemism for an uncouth, low brow white person, the type that gets into fights in bars and has mean dogs who bite people.
Must be regional, it's considered an offensive low brow thing to say where I live.
I went out with a girl who used to dance on tables. The rest of us wore scrubs and she would go home and change into a tight black dress. It is a teaching hospital and the Residents and Fellows LOVED her!
She was a hell of a nurse, too. Oldern all of us, compassionate as hell.

i hadn't gotten that far ! then again trying to fit myself and the donkey in the backseat didn't work so well logistically!
i believe my plans were to have him. s a house pet to bing watch greys anatomy with me lol
