Does Trump have Covid?

Published

I think he probably does. He's probably taking that drug, not to prevent, but to treat the virus.

I have no reason to believe he does. He seems asymptomatic.

Sweet mercy, please tell me you’re kidding.

I really don't care if Trump has COVID. I care that workers are being forced into unsafe work environments.

How you you know if a politican is lying?

He said he didn't have it, I think around the same time he said he was taking the hydroxychloroquinine to prevent the infection. I guess I'm still confused as to whether this is a treatment or a prophylactic measure, just generally speaking it seems like an important distinction.

The puzzling thing though is his doctor Sean Conley, DO stated that:

Trump also said that he is taking zinc, and that he has taken an initial dose of azithromycin, or Z-Pak.

Why? ?

Probably because that's what Trump demanded. Or he's just lying again.

I am not trying to offend you, but this is a very simplistic view of research. When you go higher in your education, you will get a better understanding on how to vet information. For example, newspapers in general are not .edus. Thus, vetting information requires more work than looking at .edu vs .com.

You'd think people would know this but it's obvious many people don't. I at least assumed college grads know it. Even those of us who graduated without doing any online research. My 8th grader just finished a unit on this topic for language arts!

?‍♀️just because you are asymptomatic does not mean that you don't have it. Thus the need for social distancing, masks, etc which is a whole other thread.

I don't think the president has it. I do think if he did have it, he would do anything possible to contain that information.

I think he'd blab it all over everywhere to gather sympathy then he'd claim he got a bad batch of hydroxychloroquine.

I think he says he is taking/says he is taking it so people will buy it up. Not convinced he doesn't have stock in it now.

At this point I don’t really think he needs more money. He is so old at this point he realistically can’t spend all of it or improve his quality of life. It’s already about as good as it gets. If anything, NOT being president would improve his quality of life.

He’s already left a vast enough empire that the wealth of his progeny isn’t a concern either. Everything he does at this point would probably stem from self actualization on Maslow’s hierarchy, or to benefit a personal psychological pathology.

Billionaires are driven people who thrive on the game of making money. They like to win and are compulsive in their quest.

I think they are all the same in that fashion. Apparently Bill Gates has doubled his fortune since turning to new ventures. They just can't help themselves.

Our current society seems intent upon elevating greed, dishonesty, narcissism and other sociopathic tendencies above the christian principles that we are often told are the foundation for this government.

Everyone is assuming that hydroxychloroquine is what he is taking because that is the drug in question. A very reasonable assumption. However I, for one, have yet to hear him get past the "hydroxy" portion of the word. Maybe it's because I turn the channel or leave the room whenever he appears in my living room, or maybe I just become tone deaf when I see his lips moving, or maybe I am in utter shock that someone keeps giving this individual a microphone and airtime. I'm not saying he can't pronounce it; I'm just saying I've never heard him state the name of this "very beautiful drug".
