Do you wear makeup?

I have been wondering about this for some time now! lol

Does anyone worry about hair/makeup while in school and at clinicals/on the job? It may sound silly for me to ask, but for me, knowing how "dirty" the job can be, it helps me to feel good if I am well groomed. (does that make sense?!)

Anyway, just wondering what your thoughts are on this!

And a little lisp in my voice

And a wiggle in my walk

a pierced ear

all this would probably destroy my Golf game

I will admit that back in the early and mid 70s I was getting my hair Permed into a "Natural"

Permed into a natural.

Now, there's an oxymoron if I ever saw one.

I agree with sbic56....those perms weren't too "natural" were they? :)

I made a big mistake back then....don't tell anyone (smiles. :chuckle ) I had naturally (real) curly hair that I blew straight a lot of the time. I got a perm! What was I thinking? LOL. I wasn't thinking. :imbar

Oh it could be worse in the hair fashion dept.

Anyone remember the late 80's?? The big shrub for bangs? The side wings?? A permed frizzball for the rest of the hair? Took an hour to do, and an hour to comb out after washing it 5 times, since the hairspray wouldn't come out? Buying AquaNet aerosol hairspray like crazy?

(or maybe that was just me.)

yes I wear makeup. Tastefully. I enjoy making myself look alive and pretty for work. Call me a weirdo. I just put it on for work or going out, never at home.

Redheads dont need makeup

They are gorgeous in all their own glory

I don't wear makeup on or off the job, unless it's a very special occasion like a wedding or for formal pictures.

not to much. Just enough so I don't look as bad as my pt. :) base, blush and eyeliner just a little color. With three kids and a twelve hour shift to go it kind of falls to the back burner.
