Hi,
I'm a school nurse in the northeast. We are closed for at least 2 weeks, but I anticipate it will be much longer than that. I really do hope that we get to a point where it is safe to reopen, but my gut is saying that we might be done for this school year.
What are your thoughts?

I went in today to do medication inventory/get my list so I can email parents and arrange med pick up. My paperwork is all up to date but I'm pretty sure they'd let me in if it wasn't. It's just our maintenance staff going in a few hours 3 days a week so I arranged with them.

We decided to remain on our online platform for the remainder of the year back in March. I've been coming in about 1-2 times/week since all of this started. Our Mayor put a "locked office" amendment in our "mandatory stay at home orders" (he refused to call it "shelter in place" due to the potential confusion with severe weather alerts we get) that stated any businesses that can be conducted in an office that can be locked can still be operational so that's what I've been exercising. Also, there's no one actually enforcing anything in my area either soooo I'm not sure what I would have done had there been someone saying I couldn't come in.
