hi guys!

I just wanted to see how the breakdown is between 'City Dwellers' (aka, 5 borough people) and upstate dwellers (aka-- everyone else.... I love NY.. .aint it grand?)

me, personally, I am a Staten Islander... an outskirtish city dweller (tee hee.... we have Trees here!!!) who loves catskill....

I live in Columbiaville! (Work at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, MA. . . do per diem at Albany Medical Center.) Used to work. . . a long time ago. . . at Barnwell Nursing Home and Columbia Memorial Hospital as a Nursing Assistant.

Just for clarification, do you work at the nursing home on Route 9J in Castleton? (You don't have to answer if you don't want.) If so, I can see how you can experience very beautiful sunsets! :cool:

Do you know what's cool about this??? You and I are probably the only ones here who's heard of these institutions! ;)

Northern New York here...did you know there is more Upstate than Albany...St. Lawrence County is located on the beautiful St. Lawrence River....I can see Canada!

I am originally born'n raised in Buffalo, Ny. Currently I am on a Travel assignment in N.C.

I have worked also in Rochester, NY.

As far as I am concerned I am a Yankee through and through and love NY state!!!!!

You can transplant her but can't take the NY out of the girl!!!! hahahahahaahah

Born and raised in NYC...but I now live in Tennessee. :o (military move)

I would love to move back home, but my husband refuses. He likes warm weather. Make sure to enjoy NY life for me!!

Rochester, NY here. Although I was born in Queens, grew up in Suffolk County, went to college in Cobleskill. Ended up going to nursing school in Troy, worked in Albany for a while and am now working in Rochester in long term care. Now with all this snow I am ready for warm weather.

hey all i'm from northern/upstate NY...sitting in about 5 foot of snow...well not exactly IN it, but you get the jest....north of Syracuse!
