Once - 76 questions. I attended a Kaplan classroom based NCLEX RN review. 21 hours of instruction and they guarantee you pass or you receive a full refund. It was well worth the initial investment.
I took the NCLEX once and had 75 questions. When the screen went black I panicked thinking no I need more questions. Of course it turned out fine but with 75 questions it could easily go either way.
I passed both the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN on the first attempt. I thought the PN was *more* difficult and actually thought the RN was borderline easy. Part of that is just because I had that extra time and context for the RN. Not as much of a distinction between the two as many believe!
one try, 75 questions. I was nervous when that last question came up, because I didn't want to have to stay any longer than that. But all was good in the end
Took my nclex 1st attempt on May and failed! I was sooo sad and crying like crazy haha. Im going to retake it again in 2weeks. Been studying 3-4h a day Ive been using PDA, alternate format, saunders. Wish me luck guys! Hopefully this time I will pass my NCLEX! :)

It makes me wonder about those schools with a 60% or 70% pass rate... They should be closed down.
