  1. My hospital orientation was a week & 1/2. First day I wore slack and a blouse...lots of people were in scrubs so after that I wore mine as well. Way more comfy :)
  2. I graduated in May 2013 took my boards in June had a job end of July but it wasn't a hospital job. Worked at that place for little over a year and now I'm working the the hospital on a surgical unit :) so about a year & 1/2 to get into the hospital
  3. Love mine..took some time but absolutely love it! We give our heparin, dilaudid and morphine with the carpujet.

  5. I just started night shift myself and wow what a difference. I enjoy it...I feel like I have more time to spend with my patients which makes me very happy!! Nights can still be busy..just a different kind of busy.

  7. I know some ERs have all types of 10hr shifts but don't know about other units
  8. I'm about to start my first night shift this week. I was going to try doing it after my shift. Idk how well this will go but we shall see.... Lol
  9. In PA new RN starts out @ $27.56 There's a $3.75 night differential and $1 for weekends. I work on a surgical unit

  11. I also worked for Ideal Image. Certain states require certain credentials. In PA you have to to be an RN. They provide training.
  12. Didn't have to take any tests during interview process but once hired I had to take a calculation/med test during initial orientation.
  13. I wore black slacks, cream blouse with a small heel. Kept jewelry to a minimum only wore a dressy watch. Good luck :))
