Nurses Uniform/Gear

Would anyone like to share what kind of shoes you prefer? Clogs or tennis shoes?
Can you give recommendations on what kind of shoes you have found to be the most comfortable?

My fiancé works with feet/orthotics and he says that Spira Classic leather shoes are great. He sells them to a lot of nurses. I just got them to start my classes and clinical with.

I wear Brooks shoes, but they are running shoes and are not white/black or all leather. New Balance are good shoes too. I need shoes to keep me from over pronating. Danskos some people swear by them, but I have flat feet and cannot wear them at all. Some people like Allegria shoes as well.

New Balance. If you go to a NB store they will stand you on the machine, scan you, and recommend a few pair for you. I do great for 12 hours despite plantar fasciitis and a stress fracture.

Everyone feet are unique:)
Hospice RN here - I am inside and outside. Currently I rotate between Dansko, Merrells and a pair of waterproof shoes from Lands End. All of which are in styles that make my huge feet (size 11) look a little more "normal"/ petite.
Something that I learned her on allnurses.com was the importance of good quality socks. Smartwool and another brand that I found at Walmart (but don't see a name on the socks, and haven't been able to find them at Walmart lately:()
I haven't tried Algeria, but I'm a huge fan of clearance and close out sales for any of the good quality brands!!

I really liked the Dansko Marcelle and Marah Mary Jane style clogs, before that I used to wear Nike walking sneakers. They seem to have stopped making them and I am having a hard time finding something new that I like

Ha! I checked out some Klogs today at Scrub Hub and INSTANTLY fell in love. I put them on and it was like I was standing on a cloud! They are a bit pricey but compared to some others they are reasonable at $98. I'm going to think it over and try some other brands before I make a final decision tho. I was close to buying a pair from Amazon but then I read the reviews and people were NOT satisfied with them at all, I think they were d.o.c. brand? People said the soles split in a matter of months!
