I find myself craving certain meals after an exceptionally long/stressful shift. None of it is ever healthy!! Tonight was one of those nights. It got me thinking... what comfort food do you crave after a difficult shift?

I'll go first.

I LOVE anything with syrup-- pancakes (especially with chocolate chips!!), waffles, and french toast. That syrup melts away all the stress of the day! My other big-time comfort meal is bacon, eggs, and fried tomatoes. I'm not quite sure why it's all breakfast food...

popcorn and club soda with lime juice!

freshly baked (still warm) brownie with large scoop of French vanilla ice cream on top!! Yumm!! But, after work, I'm too tired to bake them myself . . . I only get this if my honey happens to be baking!!

Well I don't mind the bacon butty although give me a good sausage butty and would be better. Tea definitely give that a miss but enjoy a good cuppa coffee :)

Well Canada sounds like a good place for a nice bacon sarnie Silverdragon ;)

But coffee? Give me builder's tea so strong you can stand a spoon up in it any day. I'm from the North originally. Could you tell? :)

Lived most of my life in the North England (well Lincolnshire and Yorkshire) and give me coffee any day. More of a veggie these days as hubby is a veggie so not really bothered about bacon but do manage sausage butty now and again :)
