Hello,

I am a december grad!!!!!! I am nopt sure when I will be able to take the NCLEX, but I am anticipating it being febuary or march. I know there are more of us out there so I figured I would start a thread for us. i noticed the nov. dec, jan, threads seem so supporyive and helpful.

I am planning on taking a review course with the state board of nursing, kaplan, and doing questions. I havnt decided if I will work as a GN while I am studying or not. so... what is everyone else doing???

I graduated December 13th and I'm taking the NCLEX February 14!

I am taking my next week and I am really scared but I have been told not to reschedule because from waht I hear the sooner you take it the better your chances:cheers::cheers:

True. but from what I understand, the NCLEX doesn't test you on what you learned in nursing school, per'se, it is more about safety.

So brush up on your lab values, and if you don't want to purchase a book, go to a library or something, or get on the computer and do practice questions.

Hey!! Me too! the 12th actually but...yeah I'm testing on Feb. 14th as well. Kinda poetic don't you think?

I think I am one of the few that can say I've come to the point in my life that I've prepared and disaplined myself as much as I could and whatever happens...well...providentially happens. You can't fight the unknown.

My philosophy is this:

"Prepare and hope for the best" and yet "Prepare and expect the worst"

Do all that you can to study and learn about the exam and then...let it go cause whatever happens will happen.

I'll let you all know if I pass or not, hehehehe!!!

I just scheduled my test for Feb. 5th. I am now really nervous and need to crack down on reviewing those questions. I have been doing some each day, approx. 150-250, but now it's serious.

Just finished Kaplan on Thursday, so I hope it helps!!!

hey guys! those of you who are doing kaplan, how are your scores? I am getting better, but i am still scoring around 65-67.

i am thinking that if i keep doing questions, i will get better and better and eventually be able to get at least 10-15 answers correct in a row. i hate getting like 5-7 right and then miss 1 or 2. when i take the NCLEX, i want to get like 50 questions correct in a row. am i being crazy or i this realistic?????

I am also around the area 50s to 80s, I am not been consistent that is my problem, but if I am to follow what they said in the class then I guess we are doing well MissJKM we will be fine I have tuned my mind to be positive about the NCLEX. I am counting my days 4 more days to go I am not going to freak out but to take it easy

and practice

Make sure you understand the rationale to the questions you get wrong, practice as many questions as you can and the day before the test have as a day off and try to relax

Thank you so much for that prayer, I saw it at the right time. I was saying to myself, lord help me with my anxiety for taking the nclex this month. I happen to be reading in this particular forum for the feb. test takers, and there it was, your prayer for us test takers. Thank you!!!!!!!

Hi all!

I test in 21 days. I am so nervous. I really like Saunders format, but have been doing Kaplan questions. I have a hard time remembering the immunization schedule for infants;any tips?
