sometimes these people are whiners and it is okay to laugh about it but be careful... 64 yo lady admitted reliably every 2 weeks for chest pain, always wore such pretty dresses, pretty makeup, hair done just so. After a few months of seeing her reliably every 2 weeks-- when she needed her meds refilled i asked "why are you coming back, are you having trouble affording your medicines? Do you not have acess to a primary physician?" she teared up and said to me.... "No I got all my meds but my grandson stole them all-- He sold all my furniture, he lives with me and i am scared so i lock the door at night." Amazing what you find out when you ask... I am ashamed it even took us that long to figure out, this lady knew she needed her meds and was scared for her life every day because her druggie grandson had druggie friends over leering at her, he sold all her drugs.. the state of the world these days. Just be careful with the judgment, its all good until your wrong and you will never forget it when not if--- you are.

took hurst and kapplan both-- take kapplan no question. Not that hurst isnt good but trust me when i say TAKE KAPPLAN -- thats all i can say.. peace!

As you know i cannot disclose any content, but i will say i freaked out about lab values too and tried to cram my head full and felt that it wasnt focused on. I felt that critical thinking, prioritizing, and teaching were really focused on. I feel the lab values you need to know, you already know, I just feel like that isnt where you should be focusing. Cant say anything else.. peace.

I really felt like i failed too, couldnt stop crying but aced it. Wait to worry, easier said then done but please find something fun to do until you know. God Bless.

QBANK!!!!!!! do as many priority, teaching and infection control as you can stand-- dont focus as much on content as priority, mind you you must know the content but it is the application of the content that is key-- you can know everything and if you cant apply it you will fail-- work on hard questions QBANK! and read every rationale until you understand the questions and all answers and even why answers are wrong-- thats what i did :)

do kapplan-- it is expensive but if you do what they say you WILL pass

read rationales and really focus on a strategy, your strategy to answer questions. go over priority and teaching and isolation i would say because those subjects can be challenging. perfect your test taking skills because you have the knowledge-- read all rationales-- i mean this-- its the only reason i passed-- your testing changes as you understand how a tester rationales you can start rationaling your answers and making more educated guesses :) hope this helps

you did way better than me on the trainers and i finished with 75 questions in 45 minnutes -- qbank is key, put it on tutor mode and look at EVERY RATIONALE -- this will get you thinking right for the harder nclex question and you will be well prepared, dont worry about scores just read every single rationale you can get!

i would at least invest in the kapplan Q bank, the format of question is the same. its the only reason i passed. Saunders questions are nowhere near as hard and give you false confidence.

I did it wrong, i studied until the last seccond! -- I do not suggest this, i only got 1.5 hrs sleep, kept thinking and thinking.. Relax or read a book, get your brain on more pleasant things :)

i saw my ladies screen on accident and all it said was appointment completed and a time-- 45 min -- no they do not know. at least not at my center.
