Hello,
I am a december grad!!!!!! I am nopt sure when I will be able to take the NCLEX, but I am anticipating it being febuary or march. I know there are more of us out there so I figured I would start a thread for us. i noticed the nov. dec, jan, threads seem so supporyive and helpful.
I am planning on taking a review course with the state board of nursing, kaplan, and doing questions. I havnt decided if I will work as a GN while I am studying or not. so... what is everyone else doing???
Well.....I have a dilemma. I just found out that my ATT expires on February 8th. I am not all ready to sit for this exam. I did set up a time to test but I wondered if I should just do the dry run and then pay the fee again and sit for the real magoo. I hate to waste $200. I did not realize that you could not go beyond the 3 month ATT deadline. What a bummer. A way to get more $$$. Tell me what you all think. I have been working on the first part of Suzanne's plan and am almost done. I still need the 45 days or more though.
I was looking for a February support group:up: found it. Well I take my boards in the beginning of Feb. I'm working as an LPN now I didn't want to work on permit I don't want the pressure. I waited this long another couple of months won't kill me. Now I'm using Kaplan and Saunders. Good luck to future NCLEX takers.
Hi! I graduated December 21st and will test February 26th. I just finished the Kaplan review yesterday and unfortunately I waited too long to PM Suzanne so she can't help me. I just barely passed my rediness test from Kaplan so I'm glad I've got 5 more weeks to study! I think I'll review all the Kaplan stuff possible, then at least do the first step of Suzanne's plan. I've also heard good things about Frye's 3300 nclex bullets so I'll try that too. Any other advice??? My school didn't do HESI or ATI or anything to help us pass, really irritating! I just wish I could focus exclusively on the NCLEX instead of being distracted by the fact that I can't find a job!!! Oh well, one day at a time, eh?:innerconf

Just keep practicing the questions and make sure you understand the rationale to the ones you get wrong
hey guys! good luck to all who are testing soon.
dancingdoula- i have frye's bullets too and i think its pretty good. i find myself taking the same kind of notes from my kaplan class. i wouldnt be so worried about not doing to well on the readiness test, you tool the course and still have access to the materials. you will be fine.
Hi there! My name is Meridith and I'm addicted to stressing out over NCLEX. :) I take my test Feb 6th. I graduated in December and already took a week long course in addition to the Meds Publishing quizzes that our school uses, plus I did ok on the HESI. I just pray and hope that I pass it the first time. If not, I will be devestated. Right now I am using the Chernecky/Schumacher/Stark NCLEX review book and getting ready to start Saunders and NCLEX Questions/Answers made incredibly easy. I do about 100-200 questions daily and write out the principles of the ones I get wrong. Accckkkk! I am so scared!!!!
hey guys! i just finished my kaplan review. i passed the readiness test!! I scored 71%, they recommend 65%. I am now finally able to apply for my license!! I submitted my documents to my school today and pray that our director mails it by friday. i paid pearson already, because i want this process to go as fast as possible!
