  1. Hello Fam, I just scheduled my exam for Wednesday, March 31, 2010. I am studying away now. I took a month and did content. Listening to Feur Home Study. It was excellent. Now I am doing 100 questions a day along with math calculations. I also took someone's advice from this site and bought the Saunders Strategies for Test Success and Alternate Items. I love the book it is so helpful. So....I am getting ready. I graduated from nursing school in 2004. Did not get the degree until 2005 because of the HESI exit test. I took the NCLEX that Nov 2005 failed with 265 questions. I signed up twice 2007 and 2008 but did not show up for the test. Then one day I woke up in 2009 and said I gotta finish what I started. Scheduled the test did not study went in cold to get over some of my fears. I failed but in 4 areas got near the passing rate, 1 area passed and did poorly in three other areas. This has boosted my confidence level. I like reading the comments from the site. It does help and alot of people are really helping one another.
  2. I suggest listening to some content. Try Feur. It is the best. She has home study.
  3. You passed my dear. You are an RN. I failed with 75 questions. However, I did not prepare. I went in cold for psychological reasons. Sometimes you gotta face your fears. I had fears of the test. I am studying now and remaining prayerful. God is able.
  4. All right. I am doing the Feur Home Study. I love it. I too think you are going to press. Check out the RN/PN Prayer posted under Jan or Feb test takers.
  5. READ THIS EACH DAY!!! IT SURELY HELPS... Dear Father, We come to you right now just to say acknowledge just how merciful you have been to us during one of the most challenging times in the history of our world. Lord...You are the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. You are Abba Father!!! We truly honor and magnify your precious and Holy Name even in the darkest days. We understand as your children that you are the light of the world. We thank you for opportunity to serve as "caregivers" to the wounded, burdened, downtrodden, mentally and physically challenged. We believe that you did not bring us this far to leave nor forsake us as we embark to obtain our registered nurse/practical nurse license. Your word says, Ask and it shall be given, seek and yea shall find. So right now...God, right now I am asking that you bind every spirit of worry, depression and anxiety upon my sisters, brothers and I as we endeavor to pass the NCLEX RN/PN examination. Lord give us calm spirit. Shower down confidence on us. Most of all we have built our trust in you and not some examination. Grant us FAVOR right now !!!! You promised that we shall be victorious in 2010. 10 is the biblical number of "DIVINE PERFECTION". 2010 you said you will bring forth a NEW GENERATION of Nurses, Leaders and Providers who walk with boldness and as advocates for patients. Those who put greed over patients shall be no more. Heavenly Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, "OUR KIND AND LOVING PROVIDER". Lord those of my brothers and sisters who are experiencing any lack and financial hardships I am petitioning you to provide supernatural provisions. I command it right now under the sound of my voice!!!! I decree and declare that all spirits of worry and anxiety are eradicated right now. It shall be turned into calm and peace to weather the storm for our preparation for our licenses. Finally, we ask that if it be in your perfect will for each one of us to pass the NCLEX PN/RN exam at the appointed time i.e. in your perfect timing. We thank you in advance for your grace and mercy on our lives and on our vocation as registered/practical nurses in the final making. AMEN !!!!!:heartbeat P.S. I hope I have not offended anyone with my post. Only done in love for those of us who have requested prayer.
  6. Try the prayer that I posted.
  7. I say if your not strong on content then use the feur review. Very strong on content. I am doing the home study. I love it because I can always go back and listen to the lecture again. They have the content books and the study questions too. I think the Saunders book is good too for the questions. I just ordered two other book on test taking and the alternate questions. I had a few of these when I sat for the exam in Dec 09.
  8. I have to review content because I have been away from school for 6 years. Yep..Yep...I am sleepy too. I can only listen for a few hours at a time.
  9. Prayer is the MASTER KEY !!!:lol2:

  12. Yes, count on having questions related to lab values.
  13. You know what....I know there is pandamonium over NCLEX changing the format. I do not really want to rush. I have been out of school for 6 years. I wonder if I take it at the middle of April will I be affected. I heard no. What are your thoughts..
  14. The trick does work. I had all the successfully delivered.Went all the way through to the cc screen and paid. I knew I failed because I did not study. I just walked in cold. I had to address my test anxiety fears. I am over it and ready to knock this exam out after graduating nearly 6 years ago. I owe myself that and all those people who I drove crazy through my process especially my significant other.
  15. My plan is to take in March too for the third time.
