  1. :hug:Hi everyone!~ I am curently considering a career in anesthesia. I went over my transcripts today and... my grades are all over the place. My first undergrad grades cumulative is around 2.83. then i took a look at my junior college transcript grades and they are all over the place.. I took pre-calculus in 1999 at the junior college and got an F. I retook it at my college and got a B. when i started my prereqs in 2005 I took anatomy and received an F, but retook it and got a B. but i did well in my nursing school accelerated BSN classes... i think i have a 3.7 or so... so do these CRNA schools take the average of the two grades, or do they take the most recent grade?? and when they look at undergrad grades, are they looking at my undergrad grades from my previous major, or solely my nursing school BSN grades... or do they also look at my junior college days. oh boy... can someone tell me if they're in a similar situation and have gotten accepted into school, or if anyone knows anything about how these admissions people look at the transcript.:uhoh3:
  2. look at how much you weigh~ i hear that excess weight can wreck havoc on your knees.
  3. hii~~ i agree i think that if ou dn't hear anything back then you should definitely call. perhaps ppl got backed p and didn't have a chance to call ou. don't take it personally. just take these next couple of days to relax and to prepare. in my opinion, personality matters the most. seriously ho cares if you haven't already mastered the skills like starting an IV or putting in a foley catheter. what matters is how you will get along with your coworkers. take it from me, i am a new grad and never saw how much personality mattered @ the hospitals until now. i see that as nurses you must work together as a team and learn how to work under high-stress environments. so just remember to smile during your interview (cause i know you're going to get an interview) and show your personality!!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::nurse::nurse::nurse::nurse:
  4. Grace02- yes keep trying!!!! you will one day pass! aspiringone- i'm sorry to hear that. no matter what believe that God is sovereign and that he has a plan for you! never lose hope!

  12. alright. i'm just giving an update for ya'll... i just went on the pearson vue website and tried doing the trick...and i got the good pop up.... praying to God.. does anyone know of a situation when the good pop up has appeared however the person has failed??.........
  13. hiii saw your message and was encouraged. i checked the pearson website tonight after taking it this morning. i got the good pop up. ... waiting anxiously... totally felt like i failed.... but you're giving me hope because i'm in california as well. have you heard of this trick not working for others? congratulations!!!!!! j
  14. thanks for the encouragement. yeah i think that had i gone into the examination without suffering a great loss like i did this past week then i'd be more comfortable in thinking that i passed... i know that i studied a lot and i should not have failed in 75 questions...i've been getting 58-60 percents on the kaplan tests.... however i think after all the crying and emotional distress i went through after my grandmother's passing i felt like an absolute zombie going in... we'll see it's in god's hands. i'll be so happy to report that i still passed. i'll keep ya'll posted!
