  1. I am preceptoring for 8 weeks. I totally agree with emtb2rn, ASK QUESTIONS and then ASK QUESTIONS. This is how I am surviving the ER. I love the ER!!!!!!! Good luck to you, you will get it.
  2. Thank you guys so much for your input. I am to the ED, but I am not a new nurse. I am a pediatric emergency room nurse (basically a newbie). I have been practicing pediatric nursing for 9+ years, and I just feel so lost at times. I would ask myself, am I going to retain all of this?? So I thank all of you for your advice and I welcome all advice as well.
  3. Your ideas are great, and it is an inspiration as well. keep us posted. I would love to network with you guys, us nurses can make a wealth of difference nursing.
  4. I wish everyone the best of luck, my prayers are with you all. I really hope the overturn this law.
  5. Thank you, Thank you so much for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate it so much, you'd be suprised as to how many new grad RN's are not working yet. There are many of us who wants to work in a hospital setting, but yet not given the opportunity to work due to lack of experience as a new RN, and the new grad residency program are all filled and we are forced to wait the next go round in hopes that we get chosen. So, again I thank you for your post, I will mark my calendar for this date!:bowingpur

  12. I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally passed my nclex-rn. This was my second attempt for the boards. I am a living testimony to all of those out there who are preparing to take the NCLEX-RN -or- LPN boards again. My first attempt was with the total of 112 questions ( and failed). I was so devestated, but I had to scrape myself up off the floor and somehow muster up some strength to pick up those books again. Thank God, I did........ My second attempt, I had 75 questions which comprised of 30 SATA questions( that is the most I have ever read on this forum). I passed and I am so thankful to God I have made it, I am an R.N. I want to encourage anyone out there reading this post and is preparing to test again( no matter what the number), YOU CAN DO IT!!! No one can tell you that you can't. Do it for you first and for noone else. Believe in yourself, pick yourself off the floor and muster up some strength, because you worked so hard to finish and graduate the nursing program, you will do it!!!! I am sorry for the long post, but I hope that this post will touch someone's heart to get back up on their feet again, and give fighting for that license another chance with great hope:up:. -If anyone needs any advice or just some uplifting, please feel free to pm me. We can do it, JUST DON'T GIVE UP, YOU'VE COME TOO FAR........
