I did it guys!! After 75 questions with MANY i mean MANY SATA I passed. I swore that meant I failed I can not tell you how shocked iam so see Status : PASS!!!!!!!!!! Well I took NCLEX for the 1st time today. I had way too many SATA that means i failed right? I only saw 2 priority, 2 meds, 2 math which i think I got both wrong. I really think I had like 20 SATA and I didnt know most of them. Can someone please tell me if you had lots of SATA and passed? I had 75 questions. I have spent the day crying and snapping at all my poor friends. I feel HORRIBLE Keri

I know this will probably sound nuts but I am in week 6 of my 1st semester in nursing school. What is NIC and NOC in the careplan books? I can not find the abbreviation anywhere. Also which Mosby do you feel is best? I bought the All in One so I am prepared for Psy and Maternity. Thanks for any info you can offer!!

Wow it is so surreal I start my clinical rotation in 2 weeks from today. I am so unprepared. I feel like I am caught in a whirlwind. There is so much to do with insane deadlines like a full phsyical with blood,urine,ppd (which I test positive so it is just a xray for me) and booster shots, medical malpractice insurance and cpr certification. I am amazed how fast they expect us to have this all done with a deadline of the 21st. AHHHHH.... Keep me in your prayers as I am fearful of the future but O so excited about finally becoming a nurse. Are there any hints or tips you can offer ?? What do I need ? Thanks for your time. Boy do I know how you feel!! I just got mine this Friday past. The important part is Composite score should be on the left. ALso percentages will help you know where you stand. Check that out and you will understand it better. I heard over a 100 is good. Keep us posted would love to know how you did! Keri

I got a 134 composite..... I am pretty happy with it although I know I could have done better. Now the wait is on for the acceptance or denial letter. We should know before Feb 14 because orientation is on the 16th. I am very very scared but I know I am up for the challenge. Having 3 kids and being able to handle it all I hope doesnt become overwhelming. ALthough you guys are my inspiration as I see many of you have children and make it. My son is chronically ill since birth so that is going to be a difficult change for me too. All well enough about me :lol Just wanted to share with people who understand Good luck to all those who are waiting!! I will update when I recieve the letter. We are heading to Disney 2/1-2/12 so chances are it will be there when I arrive home... Keri

I am in the waiting impatiently club too!! Although my wait is only 1-2 more weeks!! Feels like FOREVER!!! Our program starts on Feb 27th and Orientation is on Feb 16 so I assume we need to know before that. My application went in Nov. (((hugs))) to all of my fellow waiters ....... Keri

How long it took to get the results in the mail? I know lots of schools take it by computer but of course my school did it by book. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the results in the mail? I am a mess worrying. My school does it by NLN scores and the grades from our 4 pre reqs. My practice exam I got a 112 but the actual test was so much harder the vocab was out of this world. My pre req grades are English A, Psychology A+, Biology (A&P) B and Science (chem & physics) B- . What do you think my chances are?? Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer. Keri

Ahhhhhh... Now I am really scared!! I took the NLN yesterday and I now have the horror of the wait for that score then immediatly following will be the Acceptance or Denial letter!!! I will be away when it gets here too but that is probably a good thing in case it is a denial I dont want my trip to Disney World ruined! I will be opening it though! Keri

Welcome Chrissy!! I am also in NY. I am 32 with 3 kids and I have completed my pre-reqs just awaiting the yes or no for entrance this semester. Stick with it!! Its admirable after so many years. I know it was hard in the beginning but now it is like 2nd nature to be in school again. I was out of the loop for over 13 yrs when I went back. Good Luck and if you need any help or a cheering section let me know :) Nursing is a great choice as a career!! Keri

Hi Guys!! This semester I took Science 25 ( Chem and Physics mix) got a B- Developmental Psych A+ My Overall GPA is 3.66 as of now. I am awaiting my NLN results which I took yesterday and HOPE to take A&P II , Nursing Drug Calcualtions and Fundamentals of Nursing the Spring Semester!!! Great grades everyone!! Wish I didnt get that B- but Chem and phy are my weakness!! Keri

We have had 2 lecture exams and 2 lab exams so far. My grades have really been hurting. I was until this semester a 4.0 GPA student. I have an Ill son who requires lots of care which sometimes keeps me from studying. I got a 80 and 82 in the lectures and in lab a 12.5/15 and 23/30. Needless to say to drop the class I would have to do so by tomorrow. SHOULD I? Requirements are at least a B in A&P1 or Sci25 (physics and chem mix). I am so upset and down on myself. We do have 2 lecture exams left and 2 labs. Then the cumulative final of 100 multiple choice questions. 1 of our lecture exams are bring home. What would you do??? Any info is appreciated. Keri
