Had a kid bring his wet, bloody tooth and plop it right on my desk.
C'mon now!
Or the kid that did running knee slide into my office.
C'mon now!
The ones old enough to cover their mouths but choose to cough right in your face instead.
All together: C'mon now!!
Some things just make me shake my head.
I did have to LOL!Our high school nurse injected her finger with an epipen showing a student what NOT to do.
I was mad because this kid does stupid stuff like this all the time. But I couldn't be *that* mad because I got my pinkie stuck in the end of a hospital bed in nursing class. In high school. They *did* have to call the fire department.
Had a Little darling come in to have a splinter removed from her thumb. When she walked in the door I noticed a round (perfectly round) "bruise" on her forehead. When asked about it, she said her friend put a suction cup on her forehead. What?! Then she said, "I didn't know she was going put it on my forehead."
C'mon Now. How do you not see someone coming at you with a suction cup from popsocket?
(It's been a day here.)

I have a few girls a day come to me with skirts on (hiked up as high as they can without getting in trouble), no tights or nylons, telling me they're cold. Hmm I wonder why.

Yes! This week our weather has been a yoyo, yesterday morning it was 30 when I got into work and there was frost on the grass, when I left it was 66.
So I got both ends of "He has the chills, flu?" for the little one in shorts for the first recess and "he's sweating, temp check" on the little one wearing 3 layers at the afternoon outdoor recess.
There is no winning
7th grader has been having issues with fatigue and feeling weak during activity such as running or wrestling all week. Comes to me because his mom wanted me to examine him and decide if he was well enough to wrestle. Umm, not my job.
"You do not have a fever, so whether or not your wrestle is between you and your mom"
