Maybe you could talk to a counselor for guidance.
Not to be judgemental, it just sounds like you are having some problems relating to people right now and appear to be overwhelmed.
Call your school to talk to a psychologist or counselor (many schools have them on staff for counseling) and talk it out a bit.
I wish you the best of luck.

I am not being judemental, but she has a big colorful tattoo on her back.....So maybe they are right..........I trusted her and she goes on trying to get me kicked out of school? She COULD have told me to tell the instructor about the wound....But she had to go tell him herself to be all like a good nurse.....Anyway, I am very sad...I might not make it..........It is a community college, and the instructor sees failing students ALL the time....

I am sorry that this has happened to you but I think that you are being very judgemental about this girl... I have a big colorful tatoo on my lower back... but that doesn't mean that I am not trustworthy, or can't be a good nurse or friend or even someone that other classmates can trust and it really has NOTHING do to with being conservative or NOT!!! .... I think that you need to take a hard look at yourself... I knwo you are sad and mad about this whole situation however judging her for a tatoo doesn't make you any better.
Good luck in this...
It is unfortunate, and for that I am sorry for you. However, even though you dont "do anything" with the dressings, you should report any abnormal data to alert the RN to the issue as you are assigned that pt. Your eyes are one of the most important tools you can use in nursing. Just get back on the horse and show them all you can do this and want to be there. You know whether or not you are preped enough for clinical andn you should always ask for help, from your instructor or another RN when you are unsure of something. This is safe and responsible nursing care and will always reflect positively, not neg, unless you havent preped at all. Critical thinking is key...think it out...
Good luck and cheer up. You have to get back up there are give it another go! You can do it!

It means doing everything perfect. I mean you have to be the best student, no errors at all...
:crying2:
:crying2: I am just a student...I do not know everything...I am at the clinicals to learn............I bet you I will not make it......I mean, I never worked in a hospital or gave meds or gave shots...The instructor today, did not let me do any of that...I bet you I will not make it....It is the end for me....

Seems to be a pattern here. :stone

Quit whining and sobbing and move on. You're allowed to do that but only for a bit. Rise up to the challenge. Do what you need to do to get through this course.
Talk to the instructor that "gave" (you earned it) you the probation and let her/him know you're up to the challenge of taking this on as a learning experience. Find out what you need to do to improve, to learn and to get off of probration.
Forget the other person. That person hurt you and stabbed you in the back, but don't give her anymore power over you, don't worry about her life and her tattoo and never ask her for any help again.
Nursing school is tough, it's not a game. What's your goal here? Revenge? Sympathy?
Focus on your goal of being a nurse and being the best nurse you can be. Nursing school is many times unfair and brutal. But do what you can do to make to become an RN.
Good luck to you! I sincerely wish you nothing but the best.
Sad, I really feel very badly for you. This is, I believe, the third thread you've made about troubles in your nursing program.
You have blamed the program, you've blamed the instructors, and now you are blaming another student.
As I mentioned once before, I think the cultural issue is the problem here. Generally people are not out to "get" others. You also should learn a bit more about American culture, so that you will understand that a tattoo is simply a personal preference and has no "deeper" meaning.
Perhaps you may benefit from sitting down with the director of the program and having a heart-to-heart talk about your expectations and the expectations of the program. You all need to be on the same page, and I don't think that is the case now.
I hope this does not come across as too harsh. I really am trying to be helpful by telling you what I see. I sincerely hope you get all this straightened out so you can continue in the program and become the nurse you want to be.
It's called taking responsibility for yourself and your actions, or in this case, nonactions. Even though it wasn't your responsbility to change the dressings that day, you should have reported to the RN that the wound was soaking the dressing. Your "attitude" about the dressing is probably what you were reported for.
I'm sorry, but I'm not buying that a student is placed on probation for NO REASON.

I'm sorry this is happening to you, but just keep in mind there are many people out there who have tattoos, piercings, etc who are conservative, and there are conservative people in the world who will stab you in the back. And dont think that the rest of your classmates are going to stab you in the back just because that one person did. Try to get to know them first. I hope things get better for you.
