As an artist, the one thing that is my constant pursuit is inspiration. Appreciation, adoration, adulation, and monetary compensation are nice, but they don't feed the monkey.
Sooooooooo I'm posing a challenge to my virtual friends, @NurseBlaq @TriciaJ @Daisy4RN, @caliotter3 @sirI @Hoosier_RN @nursel56 @NRSKarenRN and good ole @GrumpyRN and I've put off doing this for quite some time, and that is to challenge me to make art with something that you may believe I cannot.
After I read this quote by Andre Breton back in '03, I needed to prove to myself that I wasn't an idiot.

The Font that allnurses uses is Segoe UI type....
Well, alright then! We have an image that appears to be typewritten within the narrative!
The next step is to insert a descriptive visual image into the typewritten image so that it appears to be part of the narrative!

Okay, that image is too wide, because the gray borders come up, so a clean image needs to be about 500px wide.
Good! The image is clean, without the gray border, and the typewriting image closely resembles the true typewriting!
Time for breakfast!
So I could place an image up to 80px wide within two image typewritten lines, 550px long.
The image typewriting looks just a tad bit larger than the authentic typewriting, so I'm going to see what font size 13 looks like.
Typos... Okay, next post as this one has three images which is quite enough.

First, let's see how much space a typical emoji takes up:?.
?I've downloaded emojis before, but don't remember how I did it, so I just guessed at the size of being 30 px
Lessee... here's my avatar at 30 px:
That's a little small and it doesn't fit on the line. I wonder why?
Let's try 40px:
Ah, I see. This program automatically centers the image.
Okay then, let's try this:
Again, centered. I wonder if I could do this:
Not bad- we're getting there, but It's time to close down shop. We'll try again tomorrow.
