Challenge

As an artist, the one thing that is my constant pursuit is inspiration. Appreciation, adoration, adulation, and monetary compensation are nice, but they don't feed the monkey.

Sooooooooo I'm posing a challenge to my virtual friends, @NurseBlaq @TriciaJ @Daisy4RN, @caliotter3 @sirI @Hoosier_RN @nursel56 @NRSKarenRN and good ole @GrumpyRN and I've put off doing this for quite some time, and that is to challenge me to make art with something that you may believe I cannot.

and one probably a little harder: the sound of silence

(yeah, I know they are songs, I like music LOL)

I know it's not the same song, but it reminded me of an episode I did on the comic website.

This is the final panel, since the episode from the series would be compromised posting it here. Basically, Davey Do and Dopey Joe are walking along panel after panel not saying anything...

Great song! I recently heard a recording of Simon & Garfunkel discussing their classic- Paul Simon saying something about how Art needed to be the lead and such.

This is edited from a drawing I did over 30 years ago from a comic where I told a story about dropping my little brother's bike off the bridge titled "Experiments In Gravity, Velocity, and Impact":

Get it? "Drag"? "To pull (someone or something) along forcefully, roughly, or with difficulty" vs "To inhale smoke from something, especially a cigarette"?
