April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 ;) I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :) :nurse:

I took the test this morning:

5 SATA :crying2: (I am scared b/c most people who pass say they had so many SATA:crying2:)

5 Math

So many pharm questions (like 10 or more)

So many priority questions (like 10 or more)

the test cut off at 78.... I think I got the last three right :confused::confused:

Pearson says that Alabama doesn't participate in quick results... so I will be checking BON website :uhoh3::uhoh3:

I am nervous

Hey genny0616, Hope ur test went well today.... it is a good sign that it cut off 78 ??'s...... keep up ur faith in GOd.... that's what i'm doing while waiting for the 72hrs to be up..... (CA bon doesn't participate in quick results.,,,ekkkky)...

will keep u posted on my result status and u do the same.... okey..

I am getting ready to test for Nsg 7 with Excelsior. Does anyone have any test tips I could use? I test on April 10 also I have written a short story about my wanting to become a nurse and all the obstacles. How could I submit it on here? I want to use it to encourage others to go for their DREAMS>

Vent: I rescheduled my date to next week, coz instead of studying, I wasted whole lot of time today and this weekend, mulling over things and giving myself headache over things, that kept my focus away.

well,, il be taking in 2 weeks.. and i cant explain what im feeling.. it seems that i still have to study a lot of things... and it seems all my preparations are not enough.. oh my god!!:bluecry1::crying2::banghead: when im answering practice exams, im really having hard time with those sata.. and im worried with what im reading from others who got plenty of those in their exam.. :scrying:

hey yall! ive been reading all the posts here lately and i must admit its been a lot of help. genny i think you did great and hopefully you'll find out that you passed. as for me, i took the test on the 7th too (my second time) i got a whole lot of SATA questions. My last question was a SATA question which made my test stop at 75. i dont really know what this means but i hope its good. im guessing it was around 15 - 18 of them. as for the rest of my test, i think it was a balance of both. not too many knowledge questions from what i remember. ugh! i just wanna know now!!!

Eat and sleep well, so the baby inside your tummy won't disturb you while testing. The first time I took the test, I was knocked up too, wasn't able to concentrate well during the test because my baby inside my tummy was too grumpy. So today, relax, relax, eat and sleep well. Be sure to bring something to eat/munch..
