April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 ;) I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :) :nurse:

i actually had a friend who took his exam with 75 questions and everytime he got a SATA question, he didnt even read it and just clicked away and hit next because he was under the impression that it didnt count. he had about 10 to 15 of them. well he stopped at 75 and passed! now i didnt do that because i didnt want to take the risk but what does that tell us about it??

really??? so does that mean we passed too??? are u serious?... hahaha... my friend who passed the 2nd time last january cried coz it stopped at 75 she had like 18 SATA.. she was so depressed coz her first exam also stopped at 75 and failed... well, i hope we pass too... i've read a lot pass with 10-20 SATA.. hehehe...

^^ im not saying anything. im just stating a fact that i found out from my friend. this guy DIDNT EVEN READ IT!!! but im keeping my fingers crossed and praying for everybody in here!

Hello my April Family:

i just found out that I PASSED with 265 questions.... YAY.... thank you all for your moral support and encouraging me thru this difficult time. Parise to be for the Lord who brought Suzzane our way too. it was my third time... i was very terrified by the fact that i got 265 questions...but god is good....

it all payed off..... i hope i like my job... (: after all this torture of studying for nclex....

GOod luck to those of you are testing....and for those who are waiting for thier results....

I am now in tears thanks to the last few posts.... I only had 5 SATA and I am still waiting for my results... but now I feel like I may have failed... I think I will stay off the computer until I get my results...:crying2:

genny dont listen to our rants. thats just what they are...RANTS!!! it has no bearing on anyones test whatsoever. i think everybodys situation is different and we cannot read into any of the speculations that are out there. it will just make us go more crazy. anyway, im 10000% sure that you passed. and if i am right, you owe me a drink!!! :yeah:

Hello Genny,

Don't worry about the 5 SATA, I don't think passing or failing relies only to SATA type of question. Honestly I had a lot of SATA the last time I took the test as well as pharma q's, I thought I pass it but I was wrong, totally wrong.

Mave and my April nursing family,

My exam is not on 10th. I rescheduled it for next week. My heart goes out to all of us who gave the exam and waiting for the results...and then to us who are preparing for our exams. God bless us all.

Please don't worry about the SATA's, I talked to the 24 grads that finished our program in Dec. they just took boards all within the last month and a half and they said they only had max in the group was 6 several didn't have any and most only had 1-2. so you see don't worry. They all passed by the way and although one had the whole 265 questions most didn't have over 100. You did it, now enjoy it!!!! Congrats to You!!!:bowingpur:bowingpur

hi to all! im a newbie here, came across this cool site because im looking for feedback from the nclex takers. i took the dreadful nclex this morning and til now, i feel so smashed. i stopped at 75 Qs, so im the first person to leave the room! most of the Qs are 30%-drugs(side effects etc), 30%-SATA, 20%-delegations 20%prioritizations. im also dreadfully awaiting in 2-3 days for CA board to post the results. i just want to know how the others did?! im hoping we all passed and also for the future test takers!...

Gen...continue believing...SATA's not the only basis for passing the test...i know of some people who got only 1-2 SATAs and passed the test. God is with you...We believe that you passed. :) God bless you today and always! :icon_hug:
