I'm scheduled for 11/3- the day before my bday- hopefully I do not feel crummy the next day. I was tired and had a headache after my first two but nothing terrible, and Moderna is a half dose for the booster so hopefully won't be too bad. I have had a lot more exposure in the recent weeks due to increasing case numbers and me being assigned to help with TTS, etc., so I definitely want to make sure I am as protected as possible. I think I am the first in my cohort who wants to get a booster. The worst side effect from those was a sore arm! I got Pfizer on Friday because it was all the had. Other than it stinging during the injectioni (Moderna did not), I had NO side effects. Not even the sore arm!

I had a bit of a headache and a temp of 100.3 that evening. I took Tylenol and slept well, and was only a little weary the next day. The arm that was used for the shingles and flu shots was red, sore, and felt "thick" from the inflammation. It took 3 or 4 days for that to go down. The arm that got the COVID shot was fine.

In the states vaccines are covered by insurance 100% as preventive.

No fever this time but fierce muscle aches, fatigue, and headache.

Side effects were worse than the second for sure; All the same muscle/body aches, headache, dizziness, chills, with some added nausea and a lovely dose of SOB thrown in for good measure. The SOB was actually scary - it would resolve after sitting down for a few minutes, but the chest tightness was real! Now I'm seeing they're recommending people in my position get an actual lower-dose booster 6months after the 3rd full dose!
