Wow! I knew people cheated, but really??? I was just glancing over health care jobs and found this. Not really what I had in mind for a job. What is wrong with people?

Looking for Medical Student or LPN/RN Student

I'm a nursing student taking nursing courses online. Looking for a Medical Student or RN.

I need a creative writer skilled in research and composition and APA formatting needed to ghostwrite nursing school coursework. This is a regular gig. Each week, writer will be required to research and compose two APA-formatted discussion board answers of approximately 300 -400 words each, as well as four APA-sourced and formatted responses(150 words) to other peer postings. Occasionally, writer will be expected to complete additional written paper assignments 3 pages long. I do not need an editor. Only mature individuals need respond.

I haven't contacted them, no.

But I gladly will.

Edit: And cannot, because the post was flagged for removal.

Who knows, maybe it was all some elaborate ploy, a sociological experiment in which any and all who walked into its trap were a part of.

This is totally outrageous I agree....but it seems like a good time for me to ask how many papers/writing is involved in nursing school? I just got into an ADN program and I start in feb. I'm debating whether or not I need a laptop...I have a tablet, with very limited office suites functions, and I have access to a desk top which belongs to a family member if need be....but really if there is so much writing that ppl are hiring ghost writers maybe I need to just get my own laptop? Feedback is much appreciated.

Um, isn't what the ad-writer is going for? Someone to step in and help them with their work---in the form of DOING the work for them?!

A quick question: Did anyone here have a thought aside of reporting them, or hoping that they would get reported?

Did anyone think about contacting the person, and offering advice? Maybe explain to them the gravity of the situation they're putting themselves in, and perhaps finding out why they're cheating? Maybe, just maybe, this person is in need, and feels like they cannot get by without cheating. Wouldn't it be great if someone, instead of maliciously accusing them of being a horrible person, stepped in and offered to help them with their work, so that they wouldn't feel the need to cheat in the future.

Just a thought.

You won't be writing APA papers at the level required of a BSN education. There will be writing involved in your ADN program, but not to the degree that the ad-writer feels s/he will be doing. Totally a personal decision as far as your need for a laptop with an ADN program.

Writing the papers is the easy part. I need a ghost test-taker.

I will be entering my final semester in my BSN program. I write 5 plus APA papers per semester, just in my Nursing classes that's not including my required core classes or humanities. Not sure what the requirements are for an ADN but I'm pretty sure they also have to write APA format papers. If you don't have the money for a new laptop schools have computer labs for your use.

Levitas,

I admire your compassion and willingness to give grace to people. I do think, however, in this instance that you're compassionate to a fault, which is to the point of enabling.

Cheating is never okay. Ever. This is blatant, premeditated cheating that is completely out of line and intolerable. Behavior like this, in my opinion, is truly only corrected with punishment. That doesn't mean that everyone posting here doesn't care about the human behind these actions. It simply means that they know they must be held accountable. It's no different than if someone got behind the wheel and drove home drunk. When they get pulled over, the cop doesn't ask them what stress in their life led to their decision. They don't ask if they just couldn't get by without driving drunk. They take them to jail and charge them with DUI. That doesn't mean that the cop doesn't care about the person, and it doesn't mean that those questions don't need to be asked eventually. It just means that there are consequences for your actions, especially when you knowingly broke the rules.

It's just like God said a long time ago - "If you do right, will you not be accepted?"

Just curious, when did we hear God say that?

Yes me too ESME. But this is the difference i was talking about in another one of my post when i spoke about nursing school students"then" and "now"...... NOT TRYING TO START A DEBATE HERE. Im just saying. This is highly disappointing.:sad face:

Nobody "then" cheated? I doubt that.

What has been will be again,

what has been done will be done again;

there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1:9

PS - It is ballsy, to say the least. I also wonder, what if the ad writer simply put the energy of placing the ad and vetting the responders into actually doing his or her own work?

We didn't say that it is just that it is so easy, wide spread and such an accepted practice these days.

only because you asked....

[h=3]Genesis 4:7[/h]

7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

Writing papers is a tool to learn what needs to be learned. And I understand that you believe judgement will be rendered by God. However, that judgement does not protect the patients of someone who couldn't be bothered to use the tools required by the program to learn the knowledge before that judgement occurs. Nurses are held to standards: the state's nurse practice act. Cheating is becoming more and more acceptable to students; I find that incredibly sad as they are cheating themselves out of an opportunity to learn and, more importantly, cheating their patients by not learning what needs to be learned to properly perform the job of the nurse.

WELL SAID!!!!
