Dosage Question
Thanks for all the help. It ended up being a typo.

Dosage Question
That's what we were thinking Bravo. The problem I typed is exactly what it says on the paper. This was just a practice sheet before we take our dosage exam tonight. There's no explanation just the answer given. I'll have to ask if there is a typo. It was driving me nuts because I could do the advanced calculations but the easy one tripped me up.

Dosage Question
I must still have winter vacation brain because I cant seem to work out this simple question. Please help. Question Order: Toradol 15mg IV over 1minute Available: Toradol 30mg/ml in 2ml How many ml's will the nurse administer? I came up with 0.5ml but the answer is 1ml. I thought the 2ml was a distractor because it states the dose is 30mg/ml and it was just stating that you had a total of 2ml on hand. Sorry I know this is a simple question but I'm confused.

applying early
Thanks for your feedback Stephanie. I actually have a job offer when I graduate but its a little far from home and with the nasty winters here I'm afraid to take it. Applying for positions now feels like I'm trying to put my cart before the horse but with looming loan payments I'm terrified not to start.

applying early
So we have been told over and over to start our job search early. Professors advised that we start applying the January before graduation. Well that time has come for me and I'm confused as to how to even apply when we haven't graduated. If you try with the online systems you need to enter license numbers or the page wont submit. Is there another way that we should be applying? Just forward resumes to hospital HR? When did you start looking and did anyone get any interviews while you were still a student?

What does your countdown look like?
Just finished my 7th semester my 8th and final semester starts in January! I love this post because it makes me remember what it felt like in past semesters and also makes me excited about the future. Way to go everyone whether its your first or last.

Ad on Craiglist for ghostwriter for nursing student
I will be entering my final semester in my BSN program. I write 5 plus APA papers per semester, just in my Nursing classes that's not including my required core classes or humanities. Not sure what the requirements are for an ADN but I'm pretty sure they also have to write APA format papers. If you don't have the money for a new laptop schools have computer labs for your use.

Nope we don't know their situation and to be frank I don't care what their situation is. There's this growing trend that people throw this whole "you don't know my situation" bologna in as an excuse. We all have situations, if the situation you are in makes you forfeit your morals then maybe its time to change your situation. If you are to busy to put the work into school withdraw or take a leave. Many people have had to do it and that's what makes having a degree stand out. It means you have sacrificed and worked through everything to EARN a degree. This boo hoo woe is me thing is ridiculous. How many times have we all heard the excuses?

I responded to the ad. If the fool is dumb enough to give info about their school/program i will report it. Why? Because someone like this does not deserve to have the honor of an advanced degree. It lowers the bar and deminishes all that people who worked hard for the same degree have done to EARN it. I would do the same if I found out a classmate did the same thing.

A nursing student picked up an NCLEX study guide and found...
Proof that they don't all eat their young! Kudos to the amazing nurse that put that in there.

Private Nursing Schools That accepts a 2.49 GPA in their acceleration BSN programs
She doesn't have a degree according to her op she started a program but didn't finish. She could take another semester in her program and attempt to raise her current gpa.

I dont know of any that would take a GPA that low especially an accelerated program. You may want to take some easy courses to raise you GPA then look for a school.
