I can't believe the number of people that have dropped out of my A&P class. We had a full class of almost 40 students and now we are down to almost half.

^A&P 1 seems like a weeding out class. About half my class dropped as well. In A&P 2 people already know what to expect and the amount of study that it takes, so they are less likely to drop. Not to mention that they made it past A&P 1 in the first place. Plus, I like A&P 2 material much better. Bones and muscles were pretty boring IMO.

I love smaller classes. Im still waiting for more people to drop in my class. We have about 30 people still. Im surprised because I know the test scores have been low. We have had 4 exams out of 12 so far. Maybe after the next Lab exam comes back we will lose a few more people who are still trying to hang on.

Hey everyone,

It's been a long time since I posted. Been busy with my now 5 month old and my other class (O-Chem). We're having our next practical on the skeletal system. My professor gave us a few pretty good links to help us study. I'm passing this one on to you--it's a great site to help prep you!

I guess it is a weeding out class. My school looks at how many times you withdraw and repeat a course so it may come back to bite them later on. Not that you can't get in the program if you withdraw, but it certainly is looked at.

At my school, you can't take A&P more than twice. If you don't pass it your second time around, you're done with the nursing program.

I'm lucky that I got a better professor this semester than last semester. I'll pass it for sure. And also, my next exam is going to be almost 2 weeks after it was originally planned. It was supposed to be Friday this week, but because my school had a snow day last week, we're behind, and spring break starts this weekend...we have til the 17th to prepare!

Hey guys, i've not been on in a while, phew this class sure is tough, i have lab midterms tommorow, and we have like a 6 page study guide, trying to cram as much info as possible into my brain, hope class is going well, i see myself getting a B in this class....

Ugh. Just bombed (literally) my bones practical. 61%. I'm devastated. I need near-perfect grades in the last three exams to get a B in this class. ;; -whimper- :uhoh3:

I just had my first lab practical today and I feel like I bombed my practical, too. It was tissue slides and the skin model. I did okay with the skin model but I did horrible with the slides. I need at least a B in the class... I'm so nervous! :crying2:

OMG! Our practical was ******* crazy, we were given an answer sheet with 50 blanks and asked to go around class and fill out the information, luckily though, my GA, is really cool and although she repeatedly said, no discussion, she did not care when we were talking, so we were able to kinda group up, it was cool....i guess, will wait until we see the grades

Uggggh, you all are making me nervous. My review is 25 pages long. :barf02:

Keep plugging along!

My mid-term is next week, argh!!! How is everyone doing?
