  1. Ahhh, go do it! The folks at NMS should have told you to return after December 1st for fingerprinting. You can call ahead and make an appointment. (I didn't and had to wait for-EVER)
  2. Happy New Year, everyone! Are you ready?? I still have a few things left on my list (get new parking decal, hem scrub bottoms, etc).... but I am SO ready to get this started.
  3. Mainly, that everyone is scared. The folks from Xanax should have set up a booth.
  4. Oh good, you found the reading list? The move... eh. I have a big case of analysis-paralysis. Can't decide where to move! Ahhhh! Thanks for asking. :)
  5. Your professor should have the syllabus up on their page.
  6. I've been flipping through Fundamentals and some Pharm, but trying to keep it casual to avoid panicking before the semester even starts!
  7. It won't just be from the list in the admission packet we were emailed?
  8. I chose the 11th for the exam... My books have all arrived from Amazon and the Amazon marketplace, with the free 2-day Prime shipping. I looked EVERYWHERE and I could have saved $20 by buying used from an assortment of sites - but it wasn't worth the hassle to me. I got all excited when I opened Taber's. :yelclap:
  9. Ok, so now it's just the critical thinking portion we have to take... Thank goodness! I was dreading the though of busting out the A&P/Chem/Bio review books. Back to searching for this elusive Evolve Case Studies package. Where in the googleverse is this hiding??
  10. I spent $70 at Copy's - 1 scrub top, 1 bottom, 2 name tags on order (@ $9/ea). Their Littman II SE's were about $90... I'm going to order online and save $10 on the steth, and see if I can find the same pants elsewhere, too. Every penny counts! Also got the drug screening and background check submitted today. We have to return after 12/1 for fingerprinting... A friend was repulsed by the navy blue scrubs, but I like the color! Maybe I'm just conditioned that way - my school uniforms were always navy blue. Am I alone in thinking it actually looks nice?
  11. Yeah, the costs are hurting. On top of nursing necessities, Normal Life Costs are quickly piling up: airfare to see family for the holidays + basic cold weather clothing so I'll survive there + car battery + apartment fees and deposits and movers. All before classes start! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! There goes my savings!
  12. I may go to Copy's on Monday...
  13. Question: Where is everyone getting drug tested? At NMS or anywhere?
  14. i registered for 1141 online. did something change - at the march info session i went to, they said 2140 can't be used as a university-level pharm, only if pbsc began a bsn program? there's a chance i might switch to 2140, though..... i'd like to be as thorough as possible, but don't want to overextend myself...
