I was just looking at signing up for A&P 1 this summer, it is 8 hours a week, that seems like a LOT! (this is lecture and lab added together)

It's because it's summer. They wouldn't be able to cover 16 weeks worth of material in 8 any other way.

I took mine last summer and it was 10.5 hours (lab+lecture) per week for 6 weeks.

I took a&p 1 & 2 last summer, so they were 4 weeks each and it was 24 hours per week for both lecture and lab.

8 hours per week in the summer is pretty short! My school has 6 hours a week during a full semester & 12 hours a week during the summer semester. The summer semester is 8 weeks.

I'm taking A&P II this summer and it'll be 12 hours per week. A&P I during the summer is 12 hours per week as well. It's an 8 week summer semester.

Hey. I didn't take A&P over the summer, but I did take General Chemistry. It was from 8am-1:30pm twice a week (lecture/lab combined). This is common with summer science classes.

My A&P II class will be 11 hours a week this summer. Gotta do what you gotta do...
Guess I shouldn't complain about 8 hours a week.... I just hope I can pass, with an A! I will be doing A&P1, and a few filler classes this summer.

My A&P II winter course was 12hrs a week, I worked full time and managed to find time to study and do hw. If you are dedicated and focus on your studies you will do well! I ended up getting an A+.
