Hello everybody
My adviser gave me 2 types of study plan for the entire ASN program prerequisites. Which one would you choose?
Spring: student development / gen bio
Summer: A&P1 / comp
Fall: A&P2 / gen psy / nutrition
Spring: Micro / developmental psy / music app
Or
Sprng: student development / comp / gen psy
Summer: Gen bio / developmental psy
Fall: A&P1 / nutrition/ music appreciation
Spring: A&P2 / Micro

Go second route. It is best to spend fall and spring semesters (12-15 weeks) to study A&P 1 and 2, rather than cramming all that material into 4-6 weeks of summer.

I agree with the above. A&P is a lot of information, it's makes more sense (IMO) to have 16 weeks rather than 8. We learn SO MUCH every week in my class.
Good luck!!

I also agree. It is going to take the same amount of time for route. The second option will be much easier on you.
Thank you guys :)
Isn't gen bio too much to study in just 12 week?
I can take it on spring semester and postpone gen psy instead?

I'd go with one -- I'd rather do an accelerated A&P with a schedule balanced with only one hard course a term instead of have to take A&P and Micro at the same time.

I say one too. In my opinion, you should take gen bio in the spring and get the experience of learning how to study for a science course for 16 weeks versus jumping straight into it at 8 weeks. Also, not taking A&P II with micro will help you to focus on each major science course individually.

The first scenario
Taking A&P 2 and Micro together would be pretty difficult IMHO
As you can see, each person and school is different. I don't find taking AP II with Micro this semester any more difficult than any other semester of prereqs as, at least at my school, parts of AP II and Micro overlap. You should probably try to talk to other students who have taken these classes at your school to see what they think.

I would go with option 2. Gen bio can easily be done during the summer even with dev psych. Taking A&P for a full term will you give more time to learn it at a slower pace. I took anatomy and micro at the same time for a full term and it was easily manageable.

The first one i never took microbiology. I also didnt never took w sciences together.
Taking nutrition and anatomy and physiology is good because in my opinion i think they compliment each other on some topics.
