How many miles do you drive to work each day?

I drive 30 miles to work one way-For a total of 60 miles. With the rising costs of gas, how far is too far to drive and how many total miles do you drive each day?

I have two jobs. I drive 6 miles one-way to one facility and 50 miles one-way to the other facility.

I remember when I lived in a small city and thinking driving 6 miles to work was outrageously too long.

I now drive 22.5 miles one way to work. It's between 25-45 mins per trip depending on the traffic.

We are talking about moving to a neighborhood where I will almost be able to see my hospital we'll be so close.

I travel 3 miles one way; since I only work 3-4 days a week(either 8-hr or 12-hr days), it sure keeps the miles down on the car and I seldom fill it up!

43 miles one way. Looking for a job closer to home, altho not necessarily because of gas prices.

Right now I drive 60 miles round trip. Where we lived before, I was driving 100 miles around to the same job, an hour each way. I would drive no more than an hour one way.

always hated commuting! if i move, i always find hospital closer to home. my current job is about 5 miles from home.

Well I don't do it every day, but I drive 178 miles to work. Stay there for 3 days then head home.

It depends on which office I am in.

If I am in the one that is in town it is 1.09 miles

If I am in the smaller office in the next town over it is 9.58 miles

Nobody hate me, heck it's rual living! (But our gas is the highest in most parts of the state because of it)
